“i think the delivery charge of £16.99 is exorbitant and that alone means that I will not be purchasing anything from Catalan again. The drawer unit was OK in that it fitted the gap we had BUT we had great difficulty in getting the screw out of one of the handles and one of the drawers would nt close properly so we had to a bit of adjustment there. Overall i'm not using Catalan again”

“Slightly dubious about buying from Matalan, but research showed that the product was the exact same one available under different names and descriptions on various other websites. Items turned up quickly, as described and at a price somewhere around 25% less than the next best price I could find!”

“I ordered a bathroom floor cabinet which was to be delivered by standard delivery. On the day of delivery I received an e-mail stating item was placed on wrong van and they would be in contact to arrange an alternate date. No-one contacted me to rearrange a new date so after a two day wait I contacted the Matalan and the delivery co. to find out when I would rec. my item. I was given a date on the following week and was told I would rec a phone call the day before to confirm delivery and that they would ask the delivery co. to contact me on the day to let me know when to expect the item. I only received a text on the evening before and a text on the morning of delivery stating that they could not give me an approx. delivery time. After waiting in for the whole day I phoned the courier to see where my order was at it was by now 5.00pm they informed me that my delivery slot was between 4-7 pm and that they would give me a call nearer the expected arrival. My item was eventually delivered around 6.15pm. Can't say am impressed by the service but am happy with the item ordered.”

“Ordered a vanity unit with basin and monoblock tap. Items were delivered promptly. Everything well packaged so no worries about transportation damage. The unit and sink are now fitted in my bathroom and look so stylish. I have no regrets at all about buying this and likewise no hesitation to recommend buying from Matalan Direct. I would certainly buy from this company again.”

“Been searching for a LED mirrored cabinet which is stylish but not expensive so I was so happy when I came across Matalan website. The cabinet is just perfect which is now well in placed in our bathroom. Beautifully made inside and out. Very pleased!”

“The goods arrive promptly only negative was that two items one cost 7.99 postage and the other 16.99 postage I feel if you order more then one item then you should only pay one postage but the goods are brilliant quality”

Hi Jennifer I’m really sorry to hear you had trouble getting hold of us. Our dedicated Customer Service team are available anytime from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday alternatively you can email us and we endeavour to respond within 4 business hours. We also recently launched live chat on our website to make it more convenient for customers to get hold of us. I can see from our records you contacted us as you ordered a right hand shower bath but required a left hand shower bath. Unfortunately it is not possible to an exchange item and we do ask that a new order is placed and we will collect the original item and then issue a refund. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our service so I thank you for your feedback on our returns process. As you were unable to access a printer Sibby posted your returns note to you as requested. I’m sorry if this took longer than you were expecting to arrive. We would usually send this by email so that we can arrange a collection as soon as possible. Your collection has now been booked and our couriers Final Mile will be in touch in due course to confirm a collection date by email and then phone. Once the goods have been collected, we will issue a refund to you within 7 working days. If there is anything else we can do for you please let us know. I hope you have a great weekend! John
