“Colonial floor bathroom cabinet arrived in time. Easy to assemble (and I'm a 67 year old woman!!) and I'm very pleased with it. - it looks so sweet and holds a surprising amount. Very efficient service.”

“I can't believe that in 2016 it takes an online business two weeks to deliver some small items from stock! Nothing else wrong with the website, the products, or the company, it's just that I've got so used to a very high level of service from other retailers and it makes your business seem very, very, slow by comparison.”

“The item was good value for money. Delivery is not so great. It was slow and no ability to book a time slot. It is unreasonable to expect people to be available for a whole day. I would not use the online service again because of the delivery.”

“Excellent customer service, top form communication from order to delivery. The product was extremely high quality. Being disabled I cannot go shopping, so therefore, on-line shopping gives me some independence back. Will definitely use your service again and gain.”

“Having broke my bath with the stepladders!! I wanted a cheap one to replace it as we are selling our house at the moment and found Matalan the cheapest ( but good quality) on both the bath and delivery. Other firms wanted £30 to deliver. Excellent service from the delivery guys. Really pleased how good the bath looks. Highly recommend.”

“Very good service, item well- packaged and carefully delivered by driver and assistant. Excellent arrangement of delivery date/time,company actually volunteered for no extra charge, to deliver on saturday morning. Only 1 very small criticism - my delivery arrived very early in the time slot allowed which was great, however didn't receive a text as promised before the bell rang. Still gets 10 out of 10 from me.”

“I ordered a light fitting and it was due to be delivered by DPD on 22/03/16 .I waited in and it was not delivered and the courier made no contact with me.I rung Matalan customer services and spoke to a male advisor who said he'd make enquiries with their logistics dept and get back to me,he didnt. I then phoned back the next day and and spoke to Alice who did return my call but couldn't advise me of a delivery date or give any further information. I have recalled today and was advised that I should wait in until 5pm today as it was due for delivery,it hasn't arrived and I have wasted another day waiting in.I have requested a refund and after this experience I will never use Matalan direct again or recommend them to anyone.The customer service is very poor.”

“This service was amazing!! The goods were delivered on the date and time expected. There was one item missing from our order but one quick phone call to the Courier and an e-mail to Matalan Direct and the item followed in the post within days, An excellent service and we are extremely happy with our new bathroom!!”
