I scheduled the removal of a couch and California king mattress. The removal "team" consisted of only one person, which meant I had to help move both the couch and the mattress. That was unexpected. Once we got the couch on the elevator, the team member didn't get on the elevator. That left me to get the couch out by myself. I asked the team member if he has something to tie the mattress because we live in a historic building. We needed to ensure that the mattress didn't break the light fixtures in the elevator. He initially assured me he had something to tie the mattress. However, when we got the mattress to the elevator, he tried to jam it in. I had to step in. At that point, he told me he didn't have any rope. We ended up moving the mattress down through the stairway (and again, I had to help.) All in all, it felt a little odd to pay for a service that required me to do the moving.

I opted for the all day pick-up window since I don't mind a mattress sitting out all day long. This wouldn't have been an issue. However, the mattress sat out all day and all night without being picked up or anybody contacting me to let me know that there was an issue with my pick-up. When I contacted support about this I had to leave a message and was called back and told that the person that was supposed to pick up the mattress had "lost" their phone and didn't know about the pick-up. I was also instructed to call support back and let them know if I still needed the mattress picked up. Of course I needed it picked up still, just send the guy that was supposed to be here the day before.

I needed to have two couches, a dresser and a hutch removed from my apartment. I came cross the ad online and made my decision to use this company based on the video and the fact they stated the would remove and properly dispose of these items. I paid online and set up the delivery time. The next day when the workers showed up, they did not look professional at all. (I am assuming that Mattress Disposal Plus sub-contracted this service out to a local company) They were not in uniform or had any identification on them. In about 45 minutes, they removed the items. Then, about 10 minutes later one of the workers knocks on the door and asks me, “How are you going to pay these people?” I told him they have already been paid online. This all happened around 1PM Later on that day, my son and I were going to the movies. As we are walking to the car, I noticed my two sofas were behind the dumpster at my apartment complex. I contacted Mattress Disposal Plus and let them know this was totally unacceptable. My son and I could have just taken this sofas down there to the dumpster ourselves and not have to pay $165 My point in hiring them is because my apartment complex does not allow for it’s residents. To dump our old furniture on grounds. Needless to say, I would not recommend this company

I was told that my mattress and box spring would be picked up before Noon. The driver did not show up until 4:45. I called customer service at 12:30 and they had the driver contact me who said he'd arrive by 3. My Saturday was shot waiting around until nearly dinner time. I did receive a very nice call from customer service letting me know that they run background checks on their drivers and get references. I got the impression that the driver in question will no longer be part of their team. I'm hesitate to use Mattress Disposal again but after the talk with the customer service representative, I will give it one more shot.

I was scheduled for a pick up between 4 and 8 pm last Friday. Communication about the pick up was good. The problem arose when at 8:30 pm no one has came and when I called the company, they were closed with no after hours response. I had waited at home for 4.5 hours & ultimatly was stuck with a king sized mattress in my foyer for the weekend. I called the company at 8:30 am on Monday and did speak to a helpful representative. The rep told me that the pick up driver had lost his phone, while I understand issues arrise there had to be backup in place to at least let the customer know a delay has occurred. It was picked up on Monday & my kids enjoyed the king sized trampoline for the weekend, but overall the only redeeming factor was the representative that helped.

My mattress was stolen from the street prior to pickup. Upon notification of the company of the situation they would not give me a full refund because they considered it a �same day cancellation� even though I would not have cancelled the pickup except the mattress was removed by someone else.

Process seemed simple enough, but the execution was not good. I received a call from the driver before coming out and he didn't seem to know where I was located. Not sure why a GPS wasn't used. When he and his partner got here, I was dismayed by the look of his dilapidated van and then the flip flops and shorts. They were not furniture movers. He didn't have any idea the mattress was upstairs, which I paid $10 extra for and when they carried it down the stairs, they looked like they never handled a mattress before. Scuffed the walls and ceiling and really looked inept.

My dealings with this company were poor. They didn't show up when they were supposed to. We waited for the entire 4 hour window for them to come by when we had better things to do, then ended up having to move the mattress outside ourselves! My 10 year old son and me - a 125 lb woman! My old Cal King was very hard to move, but the most irritating was waiting until past 8 pm, not being informed they weren't coming, and then receiving a very minimal discount.They eventually showed up 16 hours later and took the mattress away, but I don't recommend this company.

The mattress removers showed up in an anonymous, beat-up truck with no logo, no identification, no uniform, no paperwork, nothing to suggest that they were actual employees. This is very scary and suspicious, especially in a neighborhood where we have had a pattern of people pretending to be servicemen to get access. As a single woman, this was especially troubling. I highly recommend that you make an effort to assuage these concerns by having some kind of consistent, identifying materials.

Staff that offer customer service are nice and apologetic but do nothing to resolve the issues. I had to handle most of the communications with the drivers to ensure removal took place. I asked to have a manager call me about the issues and never received a call back. I am glad the mattress was removed, but it was not the smooth process that the company advertises.

What did pay for. You send one guy to remove a king mattress from second floor. I didn't want to touch it, but I had to help. Was lied to. Appt between noon and 4pm. At 4pm, nothing, I call, they tell us a little after 5pm which was a complete lie. Nothing by 6pm. At 7:30 driver finally calls, comes at 8:30, alone. Never recommend.

Scheduled removal of a sleeper sofa online 3 days in advance. Pick-up time was 12:00 - 4:00. Received a call at 1:45 to inform that there would be an additional charge as sleeper sofa' s are heavy. I agreed to pay. I was then told that the pick-up would be rescheduled for 3 days later. I complained and was told that they had tried to contact me earlier. This was a flat out lie. I chose to cancel. This company sucks.

Mattress pickup was scheduled between noon and 4 pm on a work day. At 3:30 I received a call saying the driver was running "very late." I was not given a time for pickup. At 4:45 I decided to contact the company, only to find they're located in another time zone and were closed for the day. I left a voicemail. At about 6:30 pm I received a call from the office stating that the driver was on his way. He and his co-worker arrived shortly before 7 pm. They were nice kids, they took the mattress away. Total disorganization on the company's part. Usually you receive communications from the driver directly in these matters, but I never did. I hesitate to blame the driver, but I never received a complete explanation for what happened. So I basically lost a half day's work just to get a mattress picked up for recycling. Awesome. I can't recommend this service to others.

The drivers called me the night before and never showed up the next day. When a driver did show up the following day she tried to get my mom to pay her again. My mom didn't have any cash and sent her away not knowing I had already paid for it online. The driver refused to come back and pick up the mattress. She asked me who was going to pay for her gas money. The company couldn't even track her down and so I asked for my money back. This was the worst experience. I called another company and they came out the same day.

I made the appointment and prepaid only to have them cancel when I called to confirm and ask for a more definitive time window on the appointment day! They claimed the driver had a "family emergency and had to leave town"... If I haven't called to check they'd probably have wasted my time waiting all day before they called me. I had to rush around and find another service which charged me more just to get the old furniture removed before the new furniture was delivered. I still have to confirm they've even processed my refund. Inconvienced and Disappointed!

If you're already taking 4 hours of my weekend away from me -- don't show up 30 minutes after that window. The driver texted me and asked me to move the mattress out into the yard, which was annoying enough. But I did that. And even then, he showed up 30 minutes late, said nothing to me, threw the mattress on top of his SUV, and drove off. Maybe the company overbooked him, so it's not his fault. But I will not be using your company again, and I plan on sharing this review on Yelp.

I'm leaving this as three stars for two reasons. 1. I received a text a day before my scheduled pick up stating that the driver is currently 8 minutes away. This caused intense panic to us as we were not home and we specifically requested the time to be when we were available. ("curb side" pick up NOT allowed in our high rise unit) 2. The pick up time was requested for 8-12pm. Our mattress was picked up at 1:30pm. You're better off just choosing the "all day" pick up and never leaving your house. However, Vincent, our driver, was very nice when he did pick up our mattress, but sadly, this process was more stress than I was sold.

Could not enter pickup time, and did not receive any email confirmation in regards effort, so thought nothing arranged. Nonetheless had truck show up after disposed of mattress thru other means, then was charged for trip anyway. Very unpleasant experience with defective website.

Ordered and money paid on the same day but had to make multiple calls because no one every showed up. Service department made nothing but excuses. - Would not recommend your company to anyone.

had salvation army come to pick up stuff and they took my mattress free of charge. I immidiately called to cancel but had missed the 24 hour window by two hours. So, I paid 45 for mattressdisposalplus to do absolutely nothing.
