“My booking number is 1550608165211047. I placed an order and wrote an note that I'm deaf, so the staff should contact me by sending me text messages instead of calling my phone directly. Initially, my mattress and box spring were scheduled to be picked up on 08/20 between 8a - 12noon. I got email confirmations for my order and the initial schedule, but on the day of the pick-up, nobody contacted me. I called customer service twice, one before 12noon and another after 12noon. On the second phone call, customer service finally figured out that my pick-up had been rescheduled to the 4-8p timeslot, but nobody informed me. If they did, they most likely called my phone directly instead of sending me a text message or emailing me. I had to explain over and over again that they could not call my phone directly, and it wasn't fair for them to keep me in the dark. The change of the time was a major scheduling inconvenience. We agreed to reschedule the pick-up to the morning of 08/22. The people who picked up the mattress and box spring did send me a text message prior to their arrival. I appreciated this. In the future, there needs to be better and efficient communication between the people who processes the orders and those who are responsible for picking up mattresses. I would have some reservations about recommending this business to my deaf friends.”

“The window time for my pickup was 1 pm thru 4 pm. DId not have pickup until 6:20 PM after several telephone calls to the office. The explanation given by the pickup service technician was scheduling problems with company's software. Evidently, my pickup was dropped off the record. Once the service technician showed, the pickup went smoothly enough. Even though I only had a full mattress and box spring for pickup, a second serviceman should have been available for taking the mattress/box spring down my one set of stairs. A long superficial scratch was made on the wall, but I can easily touch it up with paint. Gave only a three-star rating due to the aforementioned situation.”

“The overall process was smooth, and online booking was very easy, but there could have been improvements along the way. Our goal was to have a mattress removed, and that was ultimately completed, but it was performed by a third party. My understanding was that a Mattress Disposal+ team would perform the removal. The removal was supposed to happen between 8 AM and 12 PM. At 11 AM I called the service center to inquire about the location of our removal team. I had a good experience working with the customer service representative. What I did not expect was that I would then receive a call from a driver telling me he was from Ikea Home Delivery. I was confused but apparently this was the team who was contracted to remove our mattress. Everything went smoothly but I wished that it had been made clear to me that it would be possible for a third party contractor to actual perform the removal instead of a Mattress Disposal+ team. Please update your process so that this is made clear to future customers.”
