Morrisons are a shoddy company. On the other hand the staff are, by and large, great, but that is not why I am here. In Dover store I bought a nice piece of sirloin steak but at a price of almost £7. Ok, it was very tasty and lean. Next day I decided to buy another but this time I first went into the Aldi store a few yards away. I found sirloin steak in there right enough. Not only that but I bought two for the price of one in Morrisons. They were just as nice and each one the same size of the Morrisons one. So many people are complaining about Morrisons prices, that I know, one would think they (Morrisons) would try to compete. Deciding to do a check on all the prices of things I buy in the Morrisons store I was not surprised to discover that every single one was cheaper. Not only that but ALL the fresh stuff has since proven to be so much fresher and longer lasting than the Morrisons store. Flowers too are cheaper and quality as good. Not as much choice though. Since installing a bunch of self service checkouts Morrisons have not lowered any prices. This is strange because it means they are no longer paying staff to man them, and costs should be passed over to the customer for using them in the form of a discount. Crazy idea? Not at all. Sooner or later some big chain are going to realise the importance of this.

Morrisons Ormskirk. What a poor excuse for a supermarket. The shop opens on a Saturday at 7am, the delivery truck turns up from 10.30am onwards. Shelves are empty with regards to fresh bread, cakes and groceries. Do they honestly expect me to return at a later date? By this point I have purchased my shopping from one of their competitors. Nice big entrance to the shop, not a shopping basket to be found. Have to go and find your own basket, which in turn you find you don’t need as the shelves are half empty. Is it any wonder that their sales are struggling when they cannot get the basics right!

This company is well known for it's high prices and bad fresh fruit quality so how anybody can give it more than one star is beyond me. Morrisons pack their own fresh products such as fruit. Go figure. BB dates always on show past the BB date with bread etc but never priced down like the other stores. 7up with sugar now £1:75 for goodness sake, while the sugar free, which is actually worse for you, is only £1. KuraHeat back pain packets of three are almost £4, while in Poundstretcher a pack of 4 is under £2. I rate this company the same as Aldi...one star.

No problems with delivery service, but online shop fails to offer certain basic everyday items. Complained via email and received an illiterate, unsatisfactory response. Complained via Tweets and DM's and have been totally ignored. Will no longer be using this Company!!

Morrisons Dover. Watch out for the old elastic band trick around bunches of flowers around the top of the bunch....especially roses. You pick a bunch which has firm looking blooms, get then home to discover the top is held tightly by a rubber band. When the band is taken off the what appeared to be tight blooms no longer are. They open right out and lots of petals will likely fall off. This little trick is ancient. If the flowers are not up to scratch they should be priced down and not fobbed off upon an unsuspecting public. Be warned. I would have thought that this company, with it's very high prices, would be looking to keep customers happy, not angry.

Morrison's Head Office and CEO NEED to look on Twitter (for starters) at @morereasons because he re-tweets all their complaints and it is a farce how terrible this company is. They have a policy of immediately reaching out and apologising for problems on Twitter and asking for your details. Then they ignore you - you never her from them again. They ignore all correspondence.

I had to send for a new morrisons more card as my mum lost mine. I have waited over ten weeks for a new card which finally came in the post this morning. I took all my receipts down to the shop to get my points put on the card, after I had been told to keep my receipts as they would all be put on the card. Over half the receipts couldn’t be put on the card. When I voiced my objection the attitude of the customer service personnel was terrible. I said it wasn’t my fault that they had took so long to send me out a new card, this after phoning them numerous times. One of the people grabbed a handful of my receipts and was waving them about shouting to the other person “are you telling me I’ve got to put all these in separately” . I had a similar incident a few weeks ago when I tried to order food for a buffet, and I got eye rolling, tutting and head shaking. I will never shop at morrisons again. Absolutely disgraceful. Can’t believe you’ve put the plastic bags up to 20p but it’s for the environment? So why are you now charging 20p for paper bags which are supposed to be free ???

Bad! so so bad ! Out of date food always on sale , especially in the fresh/chilled section. Shouldn’t have to check food for being out of date when purchasing. Food poisoning waiting to happen. Severely under staffed ! I feel so sorry for the staff they all look so frazzled! Greedy company wanting to push staff to the brink so they can save wages. Never ever shopping with this company again! I know most companies are low on staff ,but I have never known any other supermarket have so much food on sale that’s already out of date.

Another home delivery missing items this happens every week. My shopping covered in leaking milk which had got into packets of food. Telephoned and asked the driver to come and pick it all back up, Morrisons refused this requested and told me before I continued the call was been recorded and was I happy to continue with my complaint. What the he'll that meant like I wasn't believed well I am still cleaning milk off my shopping an hour later. Morrison's have lost my customs. I spent 600 quid a month and 400 quid for my Mum they loss!

Hello Mr and Mrs. Morrison, Just did a tomato splodge with a carton of your ' Italian chopped tomato with basil'. Think I must have got a carton that drank a lot of water before it left the factory. Please ensure that your cartons aren't so sloppy in future

Whilst shopping today in Morrisons I picked up a cucumber for a salad in the week and it was soft so I picked up another and this too was soft , then I noticed some cucumbers had been snapped in half either by customers trying to find a fresh one or staff in the hopes they could still sell them. Either way a large pile of cucumbers where on sale that would probably not last more than a day. It does highlight that food quality is not monitored as closely as it should be . This is not a one off although it often isn’t as easy to tell until you get them home and they go mouldy overnight, for example I bought some plums to have with my breakfast and they literally went to mush overnight. I’m afraid I find Asda’s fruit and veg much much better than Morrisons.

On line shopping, every week biscuits are not just broken but smashed to bits. Tomatoes squashed, because the people who packed the shopping have no idea how to pack. Fruit packed under tins. I am disabled, while a refund is o.k you always end up with something missing, not the answer when you cannot get out. The dates on products are short its impossible to do a weeks shopping. Maybe its just London that has a problem.

I went in on the weekend in the exeter store, to pick up some fresh items. The Fresh Prep counter looked terrible for a Saturday morning. During week days it looks fresh and nicely displayed.

Penzance Morrison's. Shopped today - or rather tried too. It looked like they were closing down empty shelves and many items missing.

Morrison’s Walsall at 2 pm today had a rude and argumentative man on the Lottery Counter. I didn’t have a problem with what he said but I did have a problem with his bad attitude. He accused me of wanting an argument. He’d upset the customer in front of me so clearly he was having a bad day and needed to take it out on people . I can see why people shop online. I think I will start.

I don’t like to complain or write negative reviews, however on this occasion & given the recent and constant advertising I have to say something. For the last week we have been bombarded with the usual Morrison’s adverts and I was particularly taken by the raspberry roulade and finally decided to take a trip to our local Morrison’s in Brighton to buy one. On entering the store there was a huge picture adverting the roulade and I headed straight to the frozen deserts only to find out there was none in store. On enquiring with the store manager I was told the last time they were in stock was at Christmas and some excuse that it’s only available at the larger stores, the Morrison’s in Brighton is hardly small. Nevertheless I was told to order online or at customer services but that’s hardly the point and now when I see your advertising and wonderful offering I can’t help wondering if these items will actually be in store, so after my experience today I have a somewhat negative association with Morrison’s and your ‘false’ advertising, all I know is I wasted a trip down and ended up buying items I wasn’t even planning to just because I was in store, so I can’t help wondering if that’s the aim. Not impressed at all!
