“On line shopping, every week biscuits are not just broken but smashed to bits. Tomatoes squashed, because the people who packed the shopping have no idea how to pack. Fruit packed under tins. I am disabled, while a refund is o.k you always end up with something missing, not the answer when you cannot get out. The dates on products are short its impossible to do a weeks shopping. Maybe its just London that has a problem.”
“I went in on the weekend in the exeter store, to pick up some fresh items. The Fresh Prep counter looked terrible for a Saturday morning. During week days it looks fresh and nicely displayed.”
“Morrison’s Walsall at 2 pm today had a rude and argumentative man on the Lottery Counter. I didn’t have a problem with what he said but I did have a problem with his bad attitude. He accused me of wanting an argument. He’d upset the customer in front of me so clearly he was having a bad day and needed to take it out on people . I can see why people shop online. I think I will start.”
“I don’t like to complain or write negative reviews, however on this occasion & given the recent and constant advertising I have to say something.
For the last week we have been bombarded with the usual Morrison’s adverts and I was particularly taken by the raspberry roulade and finally decided to take a trip to our local Morrison’s in Brighton to buy one.
On entering the store there was a huge picture adverting the roulade and I headed straight to the frozen deserts only to find out there was none in store.
On enquiring with the store manager I was told the last time they were in stock was at Christmas and some excuse that it’s only available at the larger stores, the Morrison’s in Brighton is hardly small.
Nevertheless I was told to order online or at customer services but that’s hardly the point and now when I see your advertising and wonderful offering I can’t help wondering if these items will actually be in store, so after my experience today I have a somewhat negative association with Morrison’s and your ‘false’ advertising, all I know is I wasted a trip down and ended up buying items I wasn’t even planning to just because I was in store, so I can’t help wondering if that’s the aim.
Not impressed at all!”
“Put my order through on home delivery...all went fine, booked my slot, put In My address etc. That’s all fine. The slot was booked a week in advance. Fast forward to day of delivery, on the day I’m relying on the food for family coming over for the weeken! Wait in the whole hour of my time slot! That time passes still no delivery, go on to my Morrison’s app. “We’ve cancelled your order” why may I ask? Because they don’t deliver to my address. Ridiculous to have accepted it in the first place and then cancell last minute will not be using again”
“Went into your Wincheap Canterbury store tonight. A woman in charge, I believe her name was Shannon or Sharon, was extremely rude in front of me to the young man on the till who was being helpful and kind. Her whole attitude, quite frankly, stank. When I pointed out her rudeness she totally ignored me. (The young man was correct in counting the goods I had bought - this woman miscounted and just looked ridiculous).”
“Been with Morrisons since their Safeway takeover. Great service especially on delivery. UNTIL now! their deliveries are hopeless because of lack of stock, and their customer services are no help. When they become a decent business again, I may come back to them.”
“I bought some reduced items, but then realised i'd been charged full price. I had to go to customer services to get a refund, then purchase again at the correct price. This wasn't an isolated incident, as it's happened quite a few times. When I'm able to point this out prior to payment, the staff then have to check, and this takes time and holds up other customers. Surely if they choose to reduce certain items, then their tills should reflect this change? Otherwise, why bother reducing anything? I don't expect any better at Morissons, and rarely shop there anymore. The toilets at my local store are always filthy. The cleaning rota on the door showed frequent staff checks. Yet there was an apple down one toilet, and an empty soap dispenser, so no way to wash my hands.”
“Malvern Store fairly good, the trouble is with their Van Delivery who Persistently Blocks our Drive, we have an H bar on the road and on each case the Road is clear, all other Van Drivers park as close to the door of the Delivery, not these though, have reported the matter to no avail although they say it will be dealt with.”
“I ordered party food from Morrisons belle vale when I went to collect it I was told they couldn't do the salad dishes I had ordered because no containers to put it in then I was sent from counter to counter no one had my order information then I went to collect cakes I had ordered these were not available the only thing I will say the lady in cake department was helpful and offered other cakes free of charge the rest of the counters did not even say sorry they just said it's not there problem nothing they can do bad customer service and I would not order party food again”
“Empty shelves and no staff and when I emailed the CEO he was too ignorant to even reply. When the management have nothing but disdain for their customers it soon works its way down to the rest of the staff. Been shopping there for years but now dont bother and go to Sainsbury's instead.”
“Often food not available with empty shelves. The food that is for sale has very short sell by dates. I have shopped at the Bishop Auckland Morrisons for 20 years and have now moved my custom to Asda. It saddens me that Morrisons standards are slipping fast. During my last visit a worker was cleaning a pint of spilled milk from the floor with tissues. She said that Morrisons could not provide her with a mop....There was enough of them for sale in the next isle? Morrisons have lost my business and really need to get their act together before losing all business to competitors. Particularly as there are 5 major supermarkets in Bishop and two new ones opening in Crook. They used to be so good!”
“A Morrison’s home delivery van smashed into my licensed black taxi, shunting me into vehicle in front. Their driver immediately took responsibility as she had fallen asleep at the wheel. My 4 year old granddaughter was in her child seat in the rear of taxi. Accident happened 26th July 2018. I had 6 days without a taxi so could not work therefore no earnings as I am self employed. To date Morrison’s legal team Plexus Law have asked for an unbelievable amount of paperwork and private details short of knowing my underwear size there is no more information I can supply. I informed them at time of accident that I had only returned to work in January 2018 from 2 years of treatment for Cancer and have recently told them I am waiting for a Lung operation but still they are persecuting me for THEiR driver falling asleep and smashing my vehicle. They are basically trying every trick in the book to not payout. They have no consideration or care that for no fault of my own I lost work, my granddaughter has become scared of travelling in vehicles and I am extremely out of pocket. Please, please don’t use Morrison’s home delivery, their driver might well have fallen asleep at the wheel as they did when they smashed into me, use Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda or Waitrose.”
“The worst customer service ever. Can't simply exchange or return the t shirt which I bought there because there isn't a tag on it but I do have receive and that should be enough. Never again will buy anything in there.”
“Your salad bar is a disgrace. Many salad items unavailable, empty trays, some swimming in fluid looking like slop. Complained to Blake, Berwick upon Tweed store manager who was very unconcerned, unhelpful to the point of rudeness. Complained to head office with no response. Disgusting slop offered up with no caring management. Some items in store more expensive than Sainsbury. Very bad attitude on part of management. Rarely shop here now.”
“Although I had been warned by friends not to order from here, I didn't listen. Don't be surprised if the delivery man calls you saying he is 'out of miles' and will never deliver your products. Not even a day later. They are totally unreliable, if you really need something, don't even consider ordering from them.”
