I begrudge giving 1 star. I was charged twice for goods and have contacted them numerous times fir the refund but cannot get any action from them Worst customer service ever. Will not refund!

AVOID THIS DIDGY COMPANY - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NO REPLIES TO EMAILS NO WAY TO CONTACT MOUNTAIN WAREHOUSE ORDER PAID FOR BUT NOT SENT TO US We ordered goods well over a month ago from Mountain Warehouse Australia website. The money was charged overseas, which we did not know about because the cost of our order was in Australian Dollars and we only found out about this when I looked at our credit card statement and found out that my bank had charged a $9.00 international transaction fee. Although Mountain warehouse was happy to take our money, they have not sent us any confirmation number, they have not provided a phone number on their website and they won't answer emails. 4 weeks later, we still have not received the goods we paid for so I have contacted my bank and arranged for them to do a charge back. Avoid Mountain warehouse like the Coronavirus

Never ever again very poor quality on a ladies puffer jacket I bought, returned item has it fell apart, this has gone on for a month, had email today a rude one tooo m saying not to email again in relation to an on going issue, so I rang only to be told I can have a refund, that's OK we will wait and see, but I won't ever purchase anything again, in fact my PRIMARK £15 puffer was of better quality than mountain warehouse absolute rubbish and by no means water proof don't waste money guys

I ordered a vest a month ago and never received a emailed receipt or tracking number. Still haven’t received the vest, nor can I get anyone to get back to me. I have reached out several times now and have got no response. It says there is a phone number to call and there is none. So I guess I’ll just keep emailing and hope they decide to respond sometime. It sure didn’t take long for the money to come out of my account. They were definitely on top of that.

Used them once never again. Ordered Boots, sent a Straw Hat, been trying for weeks to get a reply, nothing. Contacted Paypal, now they want me to pay and send it back before I get my money. Poxy company, stay away.

This is a scam company. I cannot believe how well put together the website is and yet how clearly it is a scam. I bought three “fleecy lined jumpers” and three beanies from these shonksters. The jumpers are not fleecy lined and so thin, they are basically unwearable on a cold day. I never received the beanies and am now up to my 19th correspondence with these thief’s trying to get even some acknowledgement that I purchased them, despite providing all evidence. SCAMMERS. DONT BUY FROM THEM.

Chair ordered over 3 weeks ago did not arrive eventually got email to say I could fave a replacement or refund. Emailed back asking for refund as got a similar item within 3 days of ordering. Now no response to emails I appreciate the situation the country is in but they must have staff working from somewhere as they replied once. All I want is a refund so.please process had previously been a good customer in their shops but will think again.

I got ripped off by Mountain Warehouse Within the past 1 1/2 months, I placed two orders with Mountain Warehouse. Because I live in the country, they were mailed to me. One order was just a coat, the other order was a coat and a pair of trousers. All these items did not fit me, so I mailed back to them in one package. They received the package, and refunded me the 2 coats, but not the trousers. Within 1 day of them receiving my return, I emailed them, and asked about the trousers. They advised me, they would look into it, at their warehouse.  Twice within the past week I have emailed them, for confirmation for the return of the trousers. They have failed to answer my emails. There is no doubt, I returned all 3 times, and with them receiving the package, I feel they have failed to properly account for the return, putting money into their bank account. Lastly I feel like a fool in doing Business with them. It is obvious by the reviews stated, that this is one troubled company, and I strongly suggest to not do business with them.

Keep you receipts! I recently used a Mountain Warehouse water bottle while trekking in the Himalayas. It was comfortable to carry, but leaked around the cap so I couldn’t carry it in my day pack. When I reported this to Mountain Warehouse they told me I had no proof of purchase. I had sent of photographs with the report, but these were considered proof of ownership rather than proof of purchase. Obviously Mountain Warehouse is prepared to take the hard line with faulty products rather than take customer care seriously.

Did not receive a confirmation email that order was made. Tried to cancel order and get a refund with no response or help from either email, messenger or Instagram. Fro two days letter to receive a email saying it’s been dispatched. From the same email address I have been emailing! Very poor customer service! So now I have a delivery coming that I don’t want in which they will use as excuse not to give a refund for!

Purchased the 'Discovery Waterproof Isogrip Boots' for over £110 in August 18 - these come with a 5000 mile outersole guarantee. I've worn them approx 8/10 times in 17 months, covering no more than 250/300 miles,however, recently the lace rivets have started breaking, leaving me unable to tie them up. Spoke to Mountain Warehouse, and as its been over 12 months and it's not the outersole that's broken, they will not assist. Subsequently, they could offer an outersole guarantee of a million miles, but if anything else goes, they're not interested. Would not recommend as it's appealing quality and certainly not reliable.

Wow reading the reviews I did not realise how bad this company are. My experience was also bad. I reserved items then went to collect from Taplow about 30 mins later. They could not find them and said another customer had probably picked them up which could not happen if they had put them somewhere safe. Manager especially didn't seem to care. Seemed more interested in her break which obviously she is entitled to but the staff need to realise that the customers are the ones that pay their wages.

I guess I am one more victim, of this awfull company. I made an order almost an month back and still nothing.I contacted them by email 4 times until they told me that the parcel have been lost. What a surprise!!! I am very disapointed and frustrated, cause we needed this objects for a trip. I canceled now the order, and I can only hope for a refund, but from what I read, that might never happen as well.... DO NOT TRUST this company!

I bought their Whistler winter boots for my son - I am not one to ever go out of my way to leave reviews, but the quality and then the customer service was absolutely horrendous!! The boots completely flop over, no structure whatsoever, they essentially fold down, and therefore do not protect snow from entering the boots - completely useless! When I emailed them to inquire, the response I was received was this, "These boots do only have a fabric upper therefore would not have the strength to stand alone." Whhhhhat?!? And where does it say this anywhere on their site, in the photos, anywhere at all?! Nowhere. So, I tried to leave a review to warn other purchasers, since I was convinced to buy based on the apparently 5* ratings these boots have. Guess what folks?! When I called to find out how I could leave a review (couldn't find the option anywhere), I was told that buyers are randomly selected to leave reviews. Again, WHAT?! Since when does a company try to restrict how many customers leave reviews? It is unheard of, unless they are fake reviews that were fabricated by the company. And this is the only thing that makes sense based on the quality of these boots. STAY AWAY!! DO NOT TRUST THE WEBSITE REVIEWS.

Rubbish to return!!!!!! No one will give return address. Have to use their asda/ collect + thing .. not everyone has a printer to do labels etc!!@!!!!!!!!!!

Returning items is a joke!!!!!!! They will NOT give you a return address so you can just return at own expense via post office.... only way to return is via their asda/ collect plus etc and not everybody has access to printer for labels. Then they can just take your£3 fee .

I ordered on Nov 30 for a skiing trip on Dec 18, thinking that would be more than enough time. I was emailed to say the order was 'on it's way'. After one week I looked up the company and realised that are in the UK - and not Australia (the website is totally deceptive - it presents as Australian with $A etc, no mention on international shipping). When I finally got the tracking number, it says the goods are still waiting to be processed in the UK (12 DEc) had have not left the country. The parcel will arrive after we've left and sit on our front door step waiting to be stolen for 3 weeks. And now I have to race around at the last minute replacing all the stuff I bought. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Poor Quality Apparel THIS COMPANY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!!!! I have bought from Mountain Warehouse a number of times, unfortunately the quality of the apparel is not good, love some of the styling. Have bought everything from backpacks to t shirts in store in Chester. The only thing that I have been moderately happy with are the t shirts. Bought a 3 in 1 waterproof coat last year, never wore it in extreme conditions, shorty after buying the loops to attach the inner fleece to the outer waterproof were all broken. Got soaked wearing just the outer coat while riding my bike (Pedal) so much for waterproof, I only wore the coat maybe 10 times ast most. While riding in a bit of a wind the zip actually ripped apart, took it back and was given a £49.99 gift card (had owned coat 13 months), not sure what I will buy as quality of everything is very poor. I expect coats like these to last for a number of years, not just months Have also bought a pair of Path Waterproof Mens Walking Shoes, def not waterproof, had wet feet a number of times. Had the trainers/shoes for 12 months and they fell to bits, well the soles did, they completely split, again with no excessive wear, just day to day wear on flat smooth surfaces, nothing like hill walking or anything, however did buy another pair because I like the style, they do however need insoles in to give a bit of comfort. T shirts are fine for £9.99 or less but are def not worth the 19.99 asked for when not on "Sale". There is far better quality out there for these prices, guess that's what happens with cheap made goods (made in china everything). Rubbish don't waste your money. Update Dec 2019: Well for the 49.99 I did get another coat, within 4 months the Zip had broke, they replaced the coat and guess what I'm having problems with this zip as well, badly designed as keep getting the inner material stuck in the zip, oh and it too is not waterproof as it is meant to be. Poorly finished stitching on the coat, lots of long threads hanging inside coat. Oh and the second pair of walking shoes/trainers I bought lasted 9 months before falling apart again, no abnormal wear, just walking on pavements!!! VERY POOR QUALITY.

Do not buy from mountain warehouse! Customer services are the worst i have experianced yet, simply being passed from one to the next, i send one email to which i eventually got a email response saying the email string would close if i had no further response! They had not even read my email. Have been emailing back and forth for two months since sending my return parcel back via there own returns service which is TRACKED.

My order did not arrive...when I called customer service was informed that my order was "Lost in Transit".... happy to receive my £79.99...but failed to tell me about being "Lost"....Hope my funds are returned as quickly as they received them!!!... VERY, VERY POOR!!!. NO Communication...
