I wanted to sell them, ipad 4 mini offered a price of 140 f while ipad reached them and they offered me 12 f is some zart. I did not give my consent. Ipad was in the state of A ++ and returned to me without a protective glass, sim card and in addition with a scratched display. I suppose that when the glass was peeled off they damaged the display. I do not recommend these cheaters !!!!

Hello Mariusz, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your item was received and tested, it was found that the casing of the device was bent which deems it to be faulty. We regraded the item because of this and made a revised offer. As the revised offer was rejected, the item was returned to you free of charge. The likes of a SIM card would be disposed of upon testing and we advise that these are not included when items are sent to us. If you feel your device has been returned in a different condition to when it was sent to us, please get in touch with our customer services team directly so this can be investigated. Kind regards, mM CS

Avoid like the plague. Offered me 10% of the original price when they received the item. Said the screen was water damaged. Nothing wrong with it. Can't refuse the offer as they won't let you log into your account to tell them to return it. Phone line is not answered and emails not replied to. Scam merchants.

Hello, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your item was received and tested, liquid damage was found on the screen of the device, which shows clearly as white spots on both sides. Liquid damage deems the item to be faulty as per our specifications. The item was regraded because of this and a revised offer was made. In the email we provide stating the change to the order, you can click through to access your account to accept or decline. Emails are responded to within a 48 hour time frame and having looked into your order, we can see you called through to us about this so the offer could be rejected. Kind regards, mM CS

I bought an iPhone 7 from music magpie, it turnip about a week later it had scratches on when they say it was in near perfect condition, I let that go and decided to sell my iPhone 6 to them, when they received it they said it wasn’t in the condition I said and offered me a fifth of the amount they said so I rejected it an almost a week later they still haven’t posted it back to me

Hello Adrian, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your iPhone 6 was received and tested, it was found that the item was faulty due to bent casing and cracked glass. As the item had originally been listed as being in good condition, the device was regraded and a revised offer was made to reflect this. As the revised offer was declined, the item was returned to you free of charge, as per our price promise. Having looked into your order, we can see the offer was declined on 19/2/19 and the item was returned on 21/2/19. Kind regards, mM CS

Avoid. Bought a refurbished iphone 6 for my son. When it arrived the screen was slightly raised and it wasn't an iPhone screen. The company should inform you of this in description of the item but they don't. The screen froze within a week and the phone cut out. Returned the phone to music magpie who then informed me the phone had a damaged screen and casing despite me sending it back to them undamaged. Despite numerous e mails asking for a refund because the phone was not fit for purpose they are refusing a refund stating I have damaged the phone. Music Magpie have pocketed 250 pounds of my money..sold me a faulty phone then are refusing a refund on the basis it was damaged. The hairline crack in the screen would not cause the screen to freeze. The refurbished phones do not have original parts, they told me this but it is not in their description of the phone. This has breached my consumer rights Their customer service and response to complaints is shocking..wouldn't use again.

Hello, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. For clarity, we do not state that the items on our store come with original parts as we cannot guarantee that. We're also unable to create bespoke listings for our items due to the high volume we have. As we state on our website, our warranty does not cover accidental damage. A crack in the screen would be accidental damage so we're unable to repair the item and the warranty is void. The item was returned to you as is standard procedure, as listed on our site: if the warranty has been voided (for example if the item has been accidentally damaged) we will return the item to you free of charge. We can see that the complaints information has been provided, but we're unable to locate a complaint regarding this order. When one has been raised, our dedicated team will investigate further. Kind regards, mM CS

Don't trust them. I sent in a perfectly working iphone and they claim it doesnt work and try to offer half the original trade in value. Sharp practice. Go elsewhere.

Hello, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your item was received and tested, it was found that the earpiece was faulty and that the front microphone was inoperative. These issues meant the device was faulty rather than being in good condition as originally listed. Because of this, the item was regraded and a revised offer was made to reflect the faulty condition. As the revised offer was declined, the item was returned to you free of charge as per our price promise. We're sorry it hasn't worked out on this occasion. Kind regards, mM CS

My phone came this morning and to my disappointment, it was not charging despite being plugged in. I phoned customer service and I can only describe the advisor as either chewing gum down the phone line or I interrupted her lunch! Terrible first time experience and will not be using again!

Sent a iPhone 4s along with 2 other phones all wrapped secured and boxed. They sent me a email stating it did not boot up and offered me £30 less. I declined and they returned the phone back smashed as though the phone was forced open. Will never use again !!

Hello, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. Having looked into your order, we can see that an iPhone 4s was listed in good condition for £16.70. However, when the item was received and tested the item was found to be faulty so we could only offer £2 for it. Faults found with the device are as follows: Power - device not booting or powering up, also expanded battery, lifted back glass, cracked screen, faulty sim tray slot. Unable to check for accounts or restore. The difference in price is £14.70 as opposed to £30 as mentioned. As the revised offer was rejected, the item was returned to you in the condition in which we received it, free of charge as per our price promise. We're sorry it hasn't worked out on this occasion. Kind regards, mM CS

Bought an expensive iphone after about 3 months the battery stopped charging. They asked me to send it back and that usually it would be back with me in 5 to 7 days. They have had it now for 10 days and insist I delete my apple account before they will look at it (even though the battery is the problem) I rang them and they said they would ask the technician if I could just give my passcode but then said no. So 10 days no further forward. Had to delete my account (with all the hassle that causes) Will never use them again

Hello Gary, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. We apologise for any delay in processing of your returned item. When the returns label is provided, we include instructions on how to remove the iCloud or Google account - this needs to be removed so we can access the device. Unfortunately as the account wasn't removed upon receipt, the process was delayed. As the iCloud account was removed, we were able to access the item and the fault was repaired. The device has been returned to you. Your patience is appreciated. Kind regards, mM CS

Basically, i sent lots of dvds and books nicely packaged and collected by Hermes on the day as scheduled. I received an email from MusicMagpie stating that about half of the items were missing! How is that even possible? If the box ripped apart, they would have all gone. If the box arrived safely, they would have all been there. I didn't even bother with an investigation, how am i gonna prove I put everything in the box once it's been delivered. Shocking really, i only received half of what i was going to in terms of payment. Would have been better to take everything to the local charity shop. Lesson learnt - never us MusicMagpie again, it's a con.

Hello Cavit, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your order was received and checked, a number of items were missing so we could not issue payment for them. Had the parcel been damaged, this would have been noted but it was found to be intact. We notified you of the items we did not receive and continued the order without them as per your request. We're sorry it hasn't worked out on this occasion. Kind regards, mM CS

They are doing a dodgy credit deal with PayPal and not offering better, fairer offers at point of sale - they hide the better offer and push though higher interest instalment plans. Their customer service response was just a rude and condescending brush off to PayPal, who had already told me MusicMagpie set the terms. Offered absolutely no help despite them being a broker for PayPal. Avoid. Order no R221359395

Unfortunately there was not a NO STAR option as that would be more appropriate. I sent a perfectly working iPad which I had to check over before I sent as had to disconnect from iTunes etc. They wrote an email saying it had "liquid screen damage" which is not true at all and sent a revised offer of £4.50!!! I have rejected the offer and fingers crossed I will actually receive the item back as now not holding out much hope reading other reviews. Having done more research now I realise that there are so many similar dreadful reviews on the money saving expert forum - please read before you sell anything. Try searching on the forum for reviews on moneysavingexpert. So many people with similar experiences (item in good condition but email received with a revised low offer of less than £5 for tech after being quoted high prices).. Disappointing as wasted a long time packing and sending etc and now have had to decline their offer and sell on eBay. Don't waste your time - use a different site.

Really bad. As other reviews have stated, they provide a large quite to recycle your phone but then come up with a nonsense reason to change to a much lower, frankly insulting offer. I asked them to return the phone and it has come back missing a part (SIM card drawer). Raised a complaint nearly 2 weeks ago with no response. Emailed several times, nobody cares.STICK WITH O2 RECYCLE, I WILL BE DOING. They've never let me down, yes they quote lower but stick to their word. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Hello Deborah, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your item was received and tested, it was found to be faulty, rather than in good condition as originally stated. This was due to liquid damage, the missing SIM tray and the device was found to be a different model than was originally listed. The device was regraded and a revised offer was made in light of this. As the revised offer was rejected, the item was returned to you free of charge, as per our price promise. I am absolutely appalled by Music Magpie. We order two iPhone 7 plus's for our two daughters for Christmas, in good faith of the excellent reviews on Trust Pilot having always relied on their reviews to inform my decisions Both phones were received promptly well in time for Christmas. Well packaged. We looked over the phones and wrapped them to go under the Christmas trees. Sadly within days one of the phones developed a sound fault, poor tinny sound, this was returned. Within another week our other daughters phone developed many faults. Pixelating photo images, no sound when someone telephones her and very frustratingly the touch screen would not respond for many hours. The first mobile phone was not replaced by music magpie but refunded. Loaded with good trust pilot reviews we just thought we were unlucky, so tried again and order a new iPhone 7 plus. It again arrived promptly and again was faulty. The touch screen was lagging and misses letters/numbers when typing.... this will need to be returned too. We are still awaiting the results of the second returned iPhone 7 plus which was received by Music Magpie a few days ago and we are awaiting a confirmation email. I have tried contacting them via facebook as their email address takes days to get a response... The reply I had, was neither apologetic or understanding which has fueled my disappointment in Music Magpie. We have been patient (it took over 3 weeks to process the 1st returned phone) and just want our money back. The third phone will be promptly returned tomorrow (was only received yesterday). I understand one phone can be unfortunately faulty, but 3? A sincere apology and understanding would have prevented my negative review. Now I want nothing more than my money back...

Hello, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your device was received and tested, our technicians found the item was not in good condition as originally listed. Due to scratches around the edge of the screen, the item was deemed to be in poor condition. Because of this, the item was regraded and a revised offer was made. As the revised offer was accepted, payment was authorised for the item on 28/12/18. Kind regards, mM CS

Ordered a phone from music magpie, did not receive a phone in the condition I ordered. They deliberately obscure the phones condition from the shopping cart and from the order confirmation email and then accuse me of ordering the wrong phone and will only refund if I pay return postage. Responses from customer care team were unhelpful, unprofessional and at times also rude. Customer complaints dept took a long time to respond but did eventually cover cost of return but only after I pointed out several areas of distance selling regulations that they do not comply with. They should give full descriptions which they do not and allow customer to correct errors in order which they do not by not giving full descriptions. Took over a week to get refund after they received the phone back. Would definitely not buy from here again, terrible company to deal with. If you want a used phone go to CEX, better phone for better price and you can see before you buy plus they give longer warranty too.

Hello Mark, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. Disgusted. Was offered £291 for my iPhone which I sent in perfect condition. The offer was then revised after 5 days to £174 and they sent me photos of an incredibly damaged iPhone to explain why. I rejected the offer and now await my iPhone back, if it returns damaged which I'm sure it will, what do I do. Entire Christmas ruined

Decided to sell an iPhone with them, given a reasonable offer price. But once they received the phone they told me it counted as poor condition an dreduced the offer price by £50. I declined the offer and waited for the phone to come back. A waste of time and a ploy I believe they will employ many times to get away with paying a lower offer price for goods. Would not recommend to anyone selling.

Hello Charlotte, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your device was received and tested, the device was found to be in poor condition due to heavy scratches. The screen of the device is covered in a number of scratches which goes beyond the light wear and tear expected of a good condition device. The device was regraded and a revised offer was made in accordance with our terms and conditions. As the revised offer was declined, the item was returned to you free of charge, as per our price promise. Kind regards, mM CS

I sent my phone to music magpie with a £150 quote. Absolutely no problems, fully working phone. Even had its original box, case and charger! Got an email today saying the quality team had checked it over and that the screen was ‘lifted’ (which is false) Then I get offered a counter offer of.. wait for it.... £8!!! Absolutely laughable. This company is just a con. Avoid if you want what your item is actually worth. Absolute joke of a company.

Hello Jess, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. When your item was received and tested, it was found that the screen of the device had been lifted as it is coming away from the body of the phone. You can see this when you look down the top of the phone - the screen is coming away close to where the headphone jack is. This kind of damage deems the item to be in faulty condition, so the item was regraded and a revised offer was made. As the phone had originally been listed as being in good condition, the drop in offer price was significant. The revised offer reflects what we are currently offering for a faulty Pixel 32GB. If a device is revised we will provide the reasons as to why and you have a 14 day grace period to accept or decline. As you declined the revised offer, the item was returned to you free of charge, as per our price promise. Kind regards, mM CS
