“The meals are delicious. Plenty of choice and easy ability to switch between boxes of yours getting tired of the usual meals. Super affordable and love not having to think about what to cook for dinner each night! Only peeve is that with the bargain box, sometimes the recipe cards and seasoning packets come very damp/wet due to the condensation from the cool bag and sometimes softer veggies get squished in the box due to the other items in there (like cans). But it’s not too much of an issue considering there is no excess packaging!”

“Meals are generally very nice and very healthy and make life easier when we are busy. Meat and fish (especially the fish) are of excellent quality but sometimes the vegetables are not. packing is careless at times with things getting squashed at the bottom App could be better Sometimes things are missing which is annoying, the whole idea is having everything there ready to go.”

“Wonderful food and recipes! Great not having to think about what to cook and all of the Fresh Start meals have been easy to prepare. Plus not wasting ingredients that we might not use very often. We also get the recycling bag for the soft plastics.”

“I'm happy overall with the food bag deliveries I've been receiving, although there have been some issues in recent weeks. One delivery was missing a recipe card and the fish - I was able to get the recipe card sent through, and my account was credited $10 for the fish. Really though, I would've preferred to just be sent the fish. The $10 credit was appreciated, but I still had to go out of my way to the supermarket to get fish, which was annoying and kinda defeated the purpose of a home delivery package. The same delivery had a head of cauliflower that wasn't attached to any of the recipes.”

“Plant Based Box. Love the recipes, really enjoy nearly all the meals. Would give a 5 star if: The contents arrived in better condition: - Box is nearly always broken (heavy things put on top and box not full so collapses. - Vege’s often damaged (heavier ones damaging smaller/lighter ones as room in box to move) - recipe cards wet - brown paper bags wet (insides ok, but still not pleasant to receive and store). I would also prefer the ingredients to be as healthy as possible, so the bread rolls being whole grain for example. Not using packaged gnocchi that is made from potato flakes. Recipes not using the oven for just cooking tofu for example, so we look after the environment. But on the whole LOVE receiving the box each week, and feel like it’s Christmas every day - not having to decide what to cook, instead enjoying cooking again! Thanks My Food Bag :)”

“Having two kids and working shift work life is made so much easier but the quick and almost always yum meals that I love. We get three meals for four and use the lefts over to feed out kids and my partner and I for lunches the other days a week. Great way to do things. Less planning time less time in the supermarkets more time with family. Love it.”

“A lifesaver. Every week I get a box of peace of mind delivered to my doorstep. Dinners are planned and shopped for with enough leftovers for my lunch so I actually eat rather than snacking.”

“Love being able to make the choice of my meals during the week, has been great to try some new flavours and dishes! Packaging is mostly sustainable and portions are great, sometimes too much for 2 people! Easy instructions for even the most amateur cook to get a wholesome meal on the table”

“Love the bargain box! Recipes are yummy and easy to make. Works great for a flatting situation and does all the decision making and organising for you! Reasonable price aswell. Highly recommend”

“Great recipes, easy to follow and delicious. Food quality is awesome - would give 5 stars - but delivery and packing is poor - would give 1.5 stars. There were multiple times where we have found our delivery left on our driveway in the sun (rather than left on the porch like we requested) and placed on a dark staircase where we almost tripped over, damaged ingredients (dented cans), and once delivery was over an hour late with no notice. There were also couple of times where the ingredients were missing, though customer service always responded quickly and provided a store credit when brought this to their attention.”

“We love my food bag, weeknight dinners are now quick to prepare, healthy and tasty, we spend far less time and money at the supermarket, we now don’t waste food and have variety in our meals,we use less pots and pans so washing up is easier, I now get another 1 hours sleep a night because of my food bag..Brillant gregm051”

“MFB has taken the thinking out of my meals and means that living on your own doesnt have to be a stiry fry and meat every night. Sometimes i think that Im still going to be hungry but Im not or it sounds like it maybe a bit tasteless but they havent been.”
