“Overall the majority of meals are very good. Some meals lack meat in them. I have had several meals with the mint sauce missing out of them. I am a little concerned about the quality control as I have received items in meals that nearly choked me. I enclose the photos. A very small sharp bone splinter and some type of string.”

“I find the Ready Meals waver between excellent and average. Twice now I have had meals arrive where only half the meal was packed and it is a pain of long waits and disbelieving phone people to try to get a resolution.”

“I have been getting My Food Bag for a month now and find it great. Everything I need in a box and not having to think for 3 nights about what to have for dinner. Meals are so much healthier than what I would normally cook without compromising on taste. Trying things I would never have tried. Love it.”

“I have the ready made subscription and so far it has been good. I work very long hours so having this subscription option has been fantastic. The food is fresh, tasty and excellent quality. My only issue is a couple of the meals have had smaller portion sizes, but other than that it’s been great. It’s quick and easy and there’s no mountain of dishes to clean afterwards.”

“I love bargin box recipes, I do tweak the recipes as my son doesn’t eat salads so a lot of the times I try and in corporate the salad ingredients into the meal itself. Recipe is easy to follow and we have enjoyed every meal.”

“This is a great option for our family. We have busy schedules during the week and it is so good to know that we have all the things we need at home to make an evening meal. Our kids really enjoy the food and we really like how we can choose the meals to suit our family tastes. I feel that it is very good value for money too, with good quality produce and meat. Highly reccomend!”

“I got really tired of always being the one who has to think of what to have and largely do all of the cooking. MFB takes away all of the thinking its just choosing which is way more fun! it has been great in getting my children cooking and helping at home, everything is there are the instructions are clear enough for them. I have also been surprised to find I am actually spending a lot less money on groceries than I was which demonstrates its cost effectivness! I love the flexibility of being able to skip orders or get extra orders eaisly based on my family's needs that week and to be able to order extra things like desserts or fruit etc”

“I use bargain box and the pricing is pretty good. The selection is acceptable, better than some other brands, but not as good as others. I loved the Lone Star colab a little while back, which is why I signed up, but now I havent seen that again for a long time (I dont do every week, so may have missed it???) SOmetimes the instructions arent correct. THey sometimes have ingredients or instructions that arent there. As an experienced cook, I can usually figure it out, but I like to use these boxes to help my (teenage) kids to be able to learn to cook independently and that can be very confusing for them. Food is yum though”
