Had to wait quite a long time for bus on our return from holiday. 2 people pressed help button but it still took quite a while.

Hi I have to be honest and say I was let down as I thought a man : woman was going to be at the airport door waiting to take my car and on my return would be waiting with my car at the exit ....no that is not the case you have to park your car yourself so there is no meet and greet at all , you park your car and hand the keys at a porter cabin and collect from the same place you dropped the keys off , the description of your meet an and greet is cleverly worded to give you false thought but saying all these negatives there is a possible as it was cheaper and it is not far from the departure lounge so after this I will use again but at least I know what I am getting for my supposed meet and greet ....Kristifer Mccullagh South Shields

Parking fees for short term are a rip off. 36 hours parking for £28 (with discount! ) is unacceptable. With cost of petrol it will be cheaper and easier to use taxi in future. You should offer better deals ?

The price has gone up a good bit, which now costs the same as a taxi there and back. The last three times I have used the parking, the ANPR has failed to read my registration, which meant I had to reverse from the exit barriers and go into the office to have my ticket validated. Not that easy when there are cars behind you.

no real problems but why does the exit machine not take the ticket correctly and the barrier remains down and flashes up that i owe for my stay when i have paid in advance ? Not a problem as sorted out in the office quickly but a bit disconcerting and luckily i had no one to hold up behind me waiting to get out.

Managed to get a good deal on car parking by using a code (tried about 25 to get the best ), paid about £35 for one week. The barrier was up when we went into the car park so we had to go to the office on our return to get out as we didnt realise we needed a token. We got the shuttle bus to the airport but to be honest it would be quicker to walk and less cramped. Check in was easy and entry into the departure lounge straightforward. I like the new sparkly floor going into departures. Plenty of shops to peruse. We couldnt find a suitable seat so went through to the gates where we could sit next to WHSmith. DIdnt take advantage of the bars as it was 4 in the morning but have used them before and they are comfortable although a tad expensive. Airport has definitely improved in recent years

Confused re the need to take a parking ticket for the short term car park - so contacted the voice on the car park phone. On our return the system worked ok. Fortunately we did not have rain/snow - otherwise our experience would not have been so favourable.

On this occasion we were put under a large amount of pressure because when we arrived to book in on 15th September at 4-40am we produced our reservation reference and were greeted with the news that the reservation could not be found. This caused us a 30 minutes delay in going to the airport. At the time of leaving for the airport the staff still could not find our reservation and told us just to leave the car and the day time staff will sort it out. Thankfully when we arrived back the car was waiting for us. We have used Park and Fly on many occasions in the past without any problems so we accept that this blip was a one off, non the less it created a great deal of stress. Davide Graville

Booked well in advance but was the furthest away in area J as it was so busy. The bus was very full and crowded. On return at 3pm the bus didn't even turn up and we walked the full length of the park to our car as did others. Not the best but hopefully a one off and it might better next time.

We were unable to fly from Newcastle due to unforseen circumstances so unable to rate the car parking but I'm sure it would have been fine and hope to find out some time in the future.

The ANPR system for reading your number plate works well , making it easy at the barriers. The surface of the car parks are all crumbling away which makes it difficult with a trolley case because of all the chippings. The shuttle bus service is very frequent . However When returning at night the numbers on the bus stops cannot be seen and the drivers do not call them out. There should be illuminate bus stop numbers to help customers identify their stop but there isn't. If the above faults were addressed it would be a good car park.

As always have to back quite a long way back, which in itself is not an issue but there is no specific pathway and you are forced to walk on the road. The odd bits of path that exist are generally blocked by cars overshooting onto the path and no lowered curbs for pulling suitcases up and down.

Fast, efficient parking. Only downside was we were directed to overflow car park. Transferring to bus stop on irregular gravel surface resulted in damage to the wheels on one of our cases.

the siet was redesigned to slap a huge advert on the top of the 'print confirmation' page: so now i have to use 2x A4 pages to print out the receipt: NOT very eco-friendly! My reason for the printout is solely for claiming business expenses. Please make the ad smaller OR have the option to print WITHOUT the images

Once again on site parking is ok, but as usual no buses or just the one running round picking up and dropping off so you end up waiting for 20 minutes plus. Majority of people seem to accept it and walk from the terminal to the car parks. When you go to other airports buses are always running round picking people up.

Close enough to the Terminal but £20+ for under 24 hours is expensive. The surface of the car park is poor and gives it a temporary look and feel.

I always use this facility even though the exit barrier never lets me out, it doesn't recognise the fact that I prepaid so have to to the office which isn't great, this has happened twice recently. Otherwise great service I will still use. Staff friendly and helpful.

It mostly went Ok apart from the return trip on the courtesy bus; the bus stop numbers are difficult to see particularly at night. We missed ours and had to alight at the next stop. It would be sensible if the driver alerted passengers as a stop is approached. The ground is a little rough to trundle a suitcase over.
