“On line booking and ticket system works well. I have to mention however that I would have thought that on returning to Newcastle on 1/12/23 that the long stay car park that my vehicle had been parked would have been gritted following the snowfall prior to that date. Fortunately I have a front wheel drive new vehicle that is good in such conditions. If I’d had a Merc or BMW I might have been booking into the airport hotel, buying a spade and phoning the AA for a tow out of the car park. A bit more grit please. 🙏 cheers”

“20 mins from parking up to being in the departure lounge can't be bad. Plenty of food and drink outlets, as well as a large duty free shop makes using Newcastle Airport a pleasant and easy experience. Only wish would be for more long haul destinations instead of having to fly to Manchester or Heathrow for the onward journey.”

“Clear and obvious Signage (relating to what we thought we'd purchased) for the spectrum of different car parks is poor which caused all sort of anxst and practical problems. Your staff's help in resolving the consequences though was very good. It might help if your booking websites clearly identified the locations & boundaries of the different parking areas /names.”

“Parking itself was fine, with a number of spaces to choose from. There is, however, an issue with the parking system. On arrival, I dropped an elderly person at express drop off, then proceeded to Long Stay. I parked the car and walked to the terminal. On returning after my trip, the barrier would not open as I was judged to owe over £100 for my stay. I pressed the help button, and after some time the barrier was raised. Entering the express drop-off area appears to have voided my pre-payment. I wonder how many others this happens to, as dropping off passengers before parking is not unusual. No complaints about parking, staff or security of the vehicle -- all fine. However, the system needs adjustment to avoid post-flight stress.”
