“The drivers are nice and friendly and provide a reliable delivery service. Lately, although I have not requested a refund my okra has been delivered and are either mouldy on arrival or by the time I need to use them which is very disappointing. The rest of my veg regularly ordered is also hit and miss. My meat on occasion has not been as fresh and I have at least twice has to dispose of my lamb cutlets. I have purchased oxtail from Canary Wharf Waitrose and it would be good to be able to order online anything I can buy in the shop. My overall view is that Ocado are good and I would recommend them but they could be better.”

Many thanks for your review Michelle, it is a real shame to hear you have been let down by some of your fresh produce recently and we sincerely apologise for any disappointment this has caused, if you could contact us should this ever happen again, we can obtain more of the product information and look to get this passed on for further quality control checks. With regard to some Waitrose products, where we do offer an extensive range, we do not currently hold all Waitrose items, that being said, there is a product request function at the bottom of every page on our website, should you ever wish to see an item we do not sell, please fill this out and it will be sent directly to our Trading department. “I would be lost without Ocado, I don't know how I would have coped with small children and a busy job if it were not for online grocery shopping. I have tried all the main supermarkets over the years and Ocado wins hands down, there is quite simply no comparison for service, reliability, choice, quality and flexibility.”

“Been using Ocado for over 10 years. Great range of quality groceries and other ranews eg pets and homewares. Lots of international brands and products and their own brand range is usually excellent. The delivery service is brilliant, one hour slots usually with good next day availability. Really helpful customer service and policies too.”

“Overall very happy with the service and am a big fan of Ocado. it would be great to have vouchers available under your online account so when you are checking it gives you an option to redeem without trying to find the email and entering voucher code. Holland and Barratt does this and it is very helpful as you always cannot find the voucher and you know it is always in your account details when you log on. Having Waitrose products available is very good also. Maybe introduce a loyalty scheme so depending on how much you spend you get points which turns into more discounts and vouchers.”

“Good service. Delay only once. Only problem has been mouldy bags! You should get rid of them when they have become damp. It contaminated my food last week. Thank you”

“I love Ocado, it saves me so much time. I used to think I would receive items that were practically 'out of date' but everything arrives fresh including the vegetables. I can browse the shop online if I want to and `i can find things that I regularly buy. It is easy, quick and efficient and they often have deals.”

“My overall impressions of Ocado are very favourable. However, the very poor packaging is an on-going problem. We continually get things like boxes of cereal on top of soft fruit which gets badly bruised from the corners of the boxes. I know other customers have this problem and your drivers acknowledge it. I would give you the top rating if you'd sort this.”

“I appreciate and value the good service offered by Ocado. They have a huge range of products, most of which are nearly always in stock. What you order is what you get delivered 99.9% of the time. The food is fresh and in good condition - I have only had the occasional smashed box of eggs in 12 years of Ocado deliveries. Ocado is excellent value for money. Another plus point is that orders are filled from a dedicated fulfilment centre. It is very annoying to me when I go shopping in Waitrose at a busy time and the aisles are cluttered up with staff members pushing huge carts and picking produce from aisles to fill Waitrose customers orders.”

“Always found Ocado excellent with friendly drivers and on time. More recently, though , have received fresh produce not at it's best due to poor packing. For example fresh herbs , nicely boxed for protection, packed upside down so crushed in box. Apples often bruised and occasional items squashed and leaked onto other items.”
