“The website is so easy to use and quick. Excellent range of products. The delivery is always on time, sometimes early but they phone first. Delivery drivers always courteous and helpful.”

“I appreciate and value the good service offered by Ocado. They have a huge range of products, most of which are nearly always in stock. What you order is what you get delivered 99.9% of the time. The food is fresh and in good condition - I have only had the occasional smashed box of eggs in 12 years of Ocado deliveries. Ocado is excellent value for money. Another plus point is that orders are filled from a dedicated fulfilment centre. It is very annoying to me when I go shopping in Waitrose at a busy time and the aisles are cluttered up with staff members pushing huge carts and picking produce from aisles to fill Waitrose customers orders.”

“Always found Ocado excellent with friendly drivers and on time. More recently, though , have received fresh produce not at it's best due to poor packing. For example fresh herbs , nicely boxed for protection, packed upside down so crushed in box. Apples often bruised and occasional items squashed and leaked onto other items.”

“Always on time, hardly any substitutions, delivers the shopping right to the kitchen and, if you shop using the offers, just as cheap as any other supermarket. Love it.”

“The Ocado drivers are, without exception, polite, friendly and well turned out. On the rare occasion when a delivery is delayed, the drivers always call to apologise and give an estimated time of arrival. I have only once received an incorrect order which was rectified swiftly and efficiently by the customer service team. The quality and condition of perishable goods is excellent and I have never had cause to complain.”

“My Ocado experience is mostly good – time slots when I need them, good value for good products. Drivers are mostly very polite and on time, hence the "good rating". On the downside; some of the fresh food can have short use by dates, bags can be over packed and food damaged or has just one item. One or two drivers have been very rude, but that is not common. The biggest worry, with Ocado, after being a customer for a few years is if something really goes wrong, which has happened a few times. Problems happen in all business and how they respond is the key and I am not always impressed by the way they cope with the big problems; they need to take some more responsibility and show some leadership when these rare big problems occur.”

“Drivers are friendly and almost always on time. When they're not, they always call to let you know their ETA. In three years, I've only ever had one problem and customer service were very gracious in their response afterwards. The only issue is that Ocado doesn't seem to add new product lines when requested, or repsond to the requests with an explanation.”
