“First time ever using internet shopping for groceries, and it was great. Everything I ordered was delivered, and in good condition. (I've seen pickers in supermarkets before, and those people just grab at things without looking at the quality of their pickings. Grim.) Ocado, will definitely be using them again. Delivery arrived mid selected delivery window. Driver was friendly, helpful and polite. Fantastic service!”

“Placed an order after being given a voucher code for £15 worth of organic produce none of which arrived when the order was delivered. When we phoned customer services they gave no proper explanation of what had gone wrong. We were offered £15 off our next shop but that does not make up for the annoyance of feeling conned. Made an enquiry about the order earlier in the day and had to wait on hold for 13 minutes. Not good enough. Thinking of using some other supermarket.”

“I was very impressed with the service and courteousness of the driver/delivery guy...I live in a first floor flat and have disabilities so it is a blessing to have my groceries brought to my door...Thank you Ocado!”

“The van arrived on time and the driver was very helpful. I was very pleased with the quality of the foods I had ordered with the exception of the bananas. They were too big and very green and unripe and as I needed them for immediate consumption I had to go out and buy some which were ready to eat.”

“I have shopped with Ocado once. I found the website easy to navigate and the search function mostly accurate. Everything I ordered arrived. These experiences are equal to Morrisons, but better than Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda. I decided to shop with Ocado because I wanted some speciality products, which I have been unable to obtain elsewhere, however several of the products ceased to be available once I started shopping. I was shocked to find that Ocado does not stock any freshly baked products like all of its rivals. I was also dismayed at the expense of comparable products. However the greengrocery products I purchased were the freshest and kept the longest I have ever bought from any supermarket in-person or online.”

We would like to thank you for your review Matthew, we're really pleased that you found the website easy to navigate and we are happy to hear that everything arrived as you ordered it. We were a little saddened to see that some of the items were not available whilst you were shopping, we hope this didn't cause you too much inconvenience. If you use us again, you can always book your delivery slot first and this will provide up to date stock levels for your chosen delivery window. We were also sorry to hear you were unable to source any bakery goods, if you type Gail's Bakery into the search bar, this should hopefully bring up a large range of available baked goods. Also you can use the product request function at the bottom of every page, this is then sent directly to our Trading department, who are in charge of changing and expanding our product range. Once again we would like to thank you for your review, it's always helpful to us to receive such detailed feedback.

“Really good choice of lovely foods - foods with a twist! Great prices. Very tempting offers. we felt as though as though we were treating ourselves - but all within our weekly shopping budget!! Great service. Pleased with delivery. Also brilliant after offers sent to my emails. all in all will defo be shopping here again!”

“It was very easy to place an order and the confirmation emails received were explicit and helpful. The deliveries have arrived on time and the people delivering have been very pleasant . My only concern is that on the two occasions that I have used the service I have ordered fruit from the two for one offer section .When it was delivered the sell by date for, for example blueberries ,has been very close, 2 days in the first instance. Luckily the fruit was good and lasted well but I would have preferred fruit with a longer shelf life. That is the only negative comment I can make , all other aspects are very good.”

We are sorry though, that some of your fruit had a shorter life expectancy than you were hoping for, and we do apologise for any concerns that this raised. We do provide a 'Life Guarantee' for all the fresh items we sell, and this will detail exactly how long you can expect to use the items by, this is represented by the word LIFE and then the minimum days next to it. “This was the first time I used Ocado. It took me a while to get round the site, but managed OK. Delivery came on time. Surprisingle everything was in stock. I had a free gift for being a first timer. No problems anywhere.”

“The delivery came at the expected time, and was brought indoors by a courteous driver. All items were clearly detailed and marked with the use-by date. I cannot fault the delivery on any account and I shall be ready to use Ocado again.”
