“I've used Ocado for about 8 years and have never had a bad experience. My flat is on a red route but the drivers cope with it and are always friendly and polite. There are rarely substitutes in the order and the prices compare well to the major supermarkets. Very satisfied with Ocado.”

“Sometimes tedious to get to checkout because of pop up Have you forgotten or why not try screens. Would prefer being able to dismiss, especially on amending order as much less relevant.”

“I never thought I would be happy food shopping online, that was before I tried Ocado???? A really, really easy website and hourly time slots, most other online retailers are two hour slots. I save soooo much time by getting it delivered which enables me to complete chores and thereby allows me to have some me time at the weekend. Their service and care for your orders is great. I have tried others but always come back to Ocado ... You've tried the rest so now I urge you to try the best!!”

“Positive: Very efficient delivery with respect to timing, drivers, normally no need for substitutes, etc. Quality of food usually excellent. Occasional problems: Meat can sometimes cause problems because size of joints (too big or too small). Butchers' fresh packs can sometimes vary so much in size. More recently, packing - especially of cakes and tarts has caused problems. When cakes and tarts are pushed in bags on their sides, they collapse and break up. Sometimes the packer puts heavy or sharp things like cans on top of a fruit pie, so I stopped buying nice cake and tarts for a while. Last week I bought a lemon tart and it was broken in a number of places and a tub of cream was cracked and leaking.”

“I have been using Ocado for some years now. I have found their service excellent - they have never failed to deliver on time, even in the heavy snow of three years ago, when the Ocado van was one of the very few to get through to my village. Their van men are always polite, cheerful and helpful. There is a good choice of goods (not just groceries) and I don't find their prices too high; I'm willing to pay a little more so that I can have reliable goods and service. The Smart Pass means that I can have free deliveries whenever I want, and there are lots of offers savings. At Christmas I can book my deliveries well ahead. I have tried Tesco and Sainsbury's - Ocado beats them hands down,.”

“Ocado is pretty faultless compared with their competitors. I love the range of delivery slots and the fact that you can still place an order for next day with many delivery options still available. It is unusual that I get an out of stock item (with the exception of Xmas deliveries!) and Ocado are really prompt at refunds for those items that don't arrive in perfect condition. Without exception, the drivers are unfailingly courteous, helpful and considerate "should I take my shoes off", "would you like me to take these bags in for you", "where is best to put the bags for you". I think I can count on only one hand when the driver is running behind schedule, and when that has happened they have called ahead to give a reason and an estimated new time of arrival. I love it, too, when I get the call to say that they are able to come by earlier. Just magic and that has turned out to be very helpful to me on occasion. I really enjoy having Ocado in my domestic life. Helpful and utterly reliable. Thank you.”

“I think the service I get from Ocado is excellent, especially their drivers who are very efficient and polite. I have one suggestion to make. In the case of fruit and vegetables, I would order more of this category if Ocado had a specific section for British fruit and vegetables.”

“I always recommend Ocado. We rarely have issues and the drivers are all very helpful and prompt. The quality of fresh produce can't be faulted and the range of items is very good too. Prices are competitive. Ocado has made my life a whole lot easier!”

“Best home delivery service by far. Got fed up with the others not sending half the stuff I ordered, but Ocado tells you at time of placing order whether it's in stock. Delivery slots are convenient and the drivers friendly. The quality of their own brand items is superb. Only downside I can think of is the limited delivery area. Please, please extend your availability to Dorset!”

“The main fault with Ocado is the way it is packed. Mango with 2 cartons of juice on top. Result a very messy mango. Why not put 2 items of same product in the same bag? Often have cleaning materials in with fruit or veg. The drivers tend to bring in as many bags as possible at the same time ,resulting in ready meals squashed to one side of the tray or crumbled tarts. Have stopped buying the latter. Go to M & S for anything like that. Can it be possible to buy fruit and veg in how many shopper wants. Not in prepackaged amounts. Tesco can manage it. So come on Ocado”

Hi Angela, It's such a shame to hear that you have been having issues with the packing of your orders of late, and we can understand that this must be very inconvenient & disappointing. It's also concerning to hear that you have had cleaning products packed in with your other food items. Your drivers should always be bringing your orders to you in the red delivery crates to prevent any such damages to your order. If your future drivers do continue to deliver without these please do let us know. Sadly due to the way our warehouse picking and packing system currently works, it's not possible to sell loose fruit & vegetables. If you haven't already requested a refund for the damages from your orders, or contacted us regarding the poor packing of your order, please do email us at ocado@ocado.com, and we can look into this for you. “I've been shopping online for groceries for about ten years. I have nothing but praise for Ocado. Carefully picked groceries, great range of products to choose from, easy to use ap, professional drivers that actually seem to like their job and an amazing customer service team that resolves even the tiniest of problems pronto. No, not all online retailers are as good. I know this because I switched to Ocado after receiving cat food as a substitution for chopped tomatoes, badly damaged items, half of the delivery missing and a driver shrugging it as " these things happen". Yes, these things happen, we're humans after all. It is how you deal with the problems that matters to customers.”

“overall very good. my only complaint is the packin of items in the bags,so often soft fruit etc is packed with milk or water bottles and crushed,even salads etc suffer the same treatment.”
