“OpenDoor purchase didn’t happen because during the inspection period multiple safety and functionality issues were discovered (in excess of 30 items). Estimates were obtained and the cost to remediate was $58,000. Inspection report and invoices were provided to OpenDoor, and they offered a $2500 credit. Very disappointed with OpenDoor. And, will not view another OpenDoor home based on this experience. Buyer Beware.”

“I would recommend Opendoor to anyone. The entire process was very easy, and the offer was great. We went to Zillow first, then switched to Opendoor because Zillow refused to perform their contract. Opendoor's offer was so much better we truly regret wasting our time with Zillow. Don't make the same mistake we did. If you wanted an easy sale with a great offer, Opendoor is the only option! (When Zillow decided to cancel our contract, they offered only $2K for our trouble. On top of that, they failed to deliver the funds. The alleged incentive was only to get you to sign their agreement to cancel the contract, but they did not intend to pay at all. My contract was canceled in December of 2021, the promised $2K never arrived. Even after I called everyone involved for 2 months, I finally receive a payment of $1K in February of 2022. Zillow does not honor their promise. Please proceed with extreme caution with you choose to work with them.) I worked with Opendoor with a wary heart based on my experience with Zillow. They have surprised me pleasantly at every turn. I just can't stop telling my friends and family about them. Thank you, Opendoor!”

“Unbelievable how quick and easy their process was. Very professional reps hold your hand every step of the way and keep you informed. I closed in 2 weeks and even the closing was only a 20 minute process. They offered a fair price and little to no closing costs. There were no last minute charges, etc. And your funds (if wired) were in your bank within a few hours. Top notch service. Honestly can't think of a single complaint. Thank you folks.”

“Just closed today. From start to finish this was the easiest process ever. They were professional knowledgeable and even worked with me when I got sick. Lori Nelson was fantastic to work with from the first phone call. She was quick to respond and always there to help while continually keeping me informed. Will use them again.”

“Opendoor brought my home and my final offer was absolutely fair I didn't have to make repairs nor did I have perspective buyers in and touring the home, I loved that they cash backed my offer on the purchase of my new home allowing me to close on my new home simultaneously with the sale of old home.”

“I’m attempting to buy a house from OpenDoor and it is making me very wary. They bought the house almost 3 months ago, did zero work on the property, and jacked up the price by $53,000. They didn’t even plug up the holes in the walls or paint. It barely looks like the bothered to do any kind of cleaning after the first sweep up. I really like this house and it would perfectly suit my family’s needs. However, I don’t see how the assessor for my mortgage company would approve the asking price. They aren’t going to allow money to go to inflated price houses. They also include all kinds of clauses and stipulation that are absolutely ridiculous (like saying they have the right, after accepting the offer, to remove an appliances! That seems super shady. I really hope they are willing to work with my realtor, the home inspector, and the assessor into a more realistic asking price.”

“I am selling my home to Open Door. I am buying with Open Door. I used Open Door cash back offer and got a offer accepted on my DREAM house within a couple of days. And I'm using Open Door home loans to finance my new home! I am blown away by this company! Every single step of the way so far has been so easy. I am not one to say that about home buying or selling! I've tried it the other way. This is the right way to do it. The people are phenomenal. I feel so beyond blessed to work with these amazing people! 10/10 recommend!”

“Do not buy from OpenDoor. We are attempting to purchase a home from OpenDoor that was priced on the high side, but after getting the inspection and OpenDoor refusing to cover the cost of joist dry rot in the crawlspace, bad electrical and a leaky roof the price is way too high. Even after sending OpenDoor the inspection report, they only offered to cover 5% of the repairs. I will never deal with another ibuy company again and I will make sure everyone I know hears about my experience.”

“Opendoor provided a seemless sale of my home from beginning to end. My initial offer was inline with what the market trends in my area were. Knowing I was looking into selling my home with as little input on my part as far as repairs, Opendoor was fair as to the cost of those repairs. From the initial walk thru of the interior of my home, to the no contact exterior walk around, to the final digital/photo exit the process was easy as can be. I would recommend Opendoor to anyone not wanting to conduct the traditional way of selling your home to give Opendoor a try. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Opendoor was easy to work with. I never thought it would be this easy to sell a home. The quote I received was above the desired price and fair within market value. Everything was done virtually which really helped during the pandemic. I didn’t have to deal with preparing and listing my home. There was no showing or negotiations needed. If you’re looking for a hassle free experience then Opendoor is right for you.”

“I looked at a home being sold by Opendoor. My original offer was rejected so I countered and it was accepted. I signed the offer contract with the updated offer. Opendoor did not sign their end of the contract. My realtor reached out to them and she was told that they had another offer and would I go up on my offer. They had already accepted my offer. What they did was wrong, it was unethical and it was unfair. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I did write a letter to them, but I never received a response.”
