“I rented a room at a home that opendoor foreclosed in Las Vegas. They took everything a owned overnight and i suppose through it in the garbage. In conclusion i lost everything i had. When i called them they said there was nothing they could do. My laptop, my tablet, everything i had gone and cleaned out over night. No warning or a place for me to get my things. I thought it was law to store the tenants belongings in a storage for 30 days in Nevada. Well, i lost everything. No phone call nothing from opendoor to help me get my stuff .”

“Opendoor worked for us!!! The process was surprisingly simple. This was our first sell-buy experience and we were super nervous. Our buying agent, Leslie Acha, was amazing! Explained everything, and was super helpful and calming despite all my questions and nervousness. Opendoor made the process super simple from start to finish-We looked into their cash offer (but decided to go another direction); and used Opendoor to buy and finance our new home.”

“It was such an easy experience, the best part of the moving ordeal! We were able to obtain a preliminary offer online, conduct a virtual walkthrough, finalize the contract, and sign documents without concern. Our partner was always quick to respond to questions and patient with us when we had delays with our movers on moving day. Thank you!”

“OpenDoor's customer service was awesome. I highly recommend OpenDoor. It made the selling of our home much easier and more manageable than going the traditional route of listing with a realtor. No hassle of people coming into your home to view. You don't have to keep your home in prestine condition for viewing appointments. This was extremely important to me since I working from home. Great company and super efficient, as was the closing attorneys office OpenDoor works with for their sales.”

“Opendoor was a lifesaver! We were ready to move, but didn’t have the energy to make repairs and go through a traditional process for several personal reasons, including grief and illness. Our personal expert, Eric, was kind, warm, helpful and easy-going. He was never pushy, and shared the specifics and expectations clearly and up front. They were all also able to work on our timetable. For anybody who in a similar position, Opendoor is the way to go!”

“The initial experience with OpenDoor went well -- the primary client point-of-contact was supportive, and the website tools/docs are fairly straightforward. As an owner of a condominium with an HOA, I was very clear at the start of the process that OpenDoor would need to submit an HOA application with a real life person. Two OpenDoor contacts assured this would not be an issue. After almost 6 weeks of work prepping, documenting, and signing the contract, I was verbally informed OpenDoor was terminating the contract for lack of a representative to submit the HOA application -- can't imagine it could get worse, but it did. OpenDoor sent me a termination letter a few days later stating I, the seller, terminated and allowed them to walk away with the contract earnest money. The entire ordeal was a total loss, and very disappointed considering the service other sellers seem to have received.”

“The experience so far has been great. My realtor is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Unfortunately, the house we wrote a offer for had a few issues which made us withdraw from it. But, I am confident my realtor will find me another home soon. I enjoy the convenience of open door and always having somebody available to assist me. I would recommend it to my family and friends.”

“From start to finish it was very professionally handled. The Opendoor team member was always very responsive and helpful. The final offer was made through the zoom video showing and it was at fair market value. We did not have to go through Open House showings and then worry about the buyer backing out due to any contingencies. All costs and procedures were defined upfront. No hidden costs or surprises at the end. We could also cancel without penalty if we had a change of mind or circumstances. The Dashboard allowed us to set our closing date and our checkout date, allowing us to hunt for our new home and then finally move out at our pace. It was all very convenient including the closing which went smoothly and we got our funds on the same day. Thank you for such a flawless experience.”

“They did what they said they would do, and the video walk-through and check-out procedure were very convenient. The offer we got was fair, but all sellers need to read through the fine print and ask questions where they have them.”

“These guys are crooks! First, they give you an "estimated offer" which sounds pretty fair based on the market evaluations from all the real estate websites. They tell you that the quote is the estimated net that you would profit. Then, after they lure you in and have you take photos, they give you another offer that is so much less that your head would spin. Then, they tell you the original quote was not the net but rather the gross. They say that they will beat other companies providing the same service, but when you provide them with that quote they refuse to match it or even come remotely close. Unreal. Save yourself the headache and just go with a real estate agent.”

“After 27 years of being in my home, I decided to sell and move. The biggest thing for me is that I have an elderly mother and it would not be easy to get her in and out of the house going the conventional route of selling my home. I searched for an option that I could do digitally and virtually and that is how I found Opendoor. Opendoor made the whole process very easy from start to finish. All of my questions were answered quickly and efficiently. I did not feel any pressure to sign the contracts. I was guided every step of the way, including what the fees and costs would be at closing. I was given a very competitive offer for my home and that sealed the deal for me. When I sell my next home, I will choose Opendoor again.”
