“I have lived through 35 Vermont winters and don’t know how I survived them before discovering Ororowear. I bought my first heated fleece vest two winters ago and just added a classic down heated vest this year. I can put a sweatshirt or sweater on underneath them for those chilly fall/early winter days/nights, and wear them under a winter coat when it gets really cold. Ororowear has been a game changer and hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and walking the dog are so much warmer now!!!”

“Heat functionality works well and provides a nice smooth warmth over your body. You can feel it the most on your chest. The fit of the jacket is very tight. This makes it difficult to wear any bulky clothes underneath. Mainly only a t shirt or thin long sleeves shirt will fit, no zip ups or sweatshirts. Odd for being a jacket to wear when it’s cold which usually means heavier clothes underneath. Also the width of the arms are very tight as well. I wear any bulky clothes XL and most jackets are loose fitting not noticing and difficulty putting other jackets on and other are very comfy, but I don’t get the feeling from this. It would be great if the fit and feel was more winter like, with the addition of the heat this would be great.”

“Runs small. I usually wear a medium but exchanged it for an X-Large so I have room for sweater or sweatshirt. I bought it for a trip to Seattle at Christmas so I haven’t worn it yet. I wasn’t happy it didn’t come with the plug to charge the battery. Kinda seems silly you wouldn’t include the item needed to make it work. I probably could have gotten another brand much cheaper but thought I’d go with name brand with a good reputation.”

Regarding the charging plug, you can use any USB-C wall adapter you already have at home. We’ve chosen not to include one in order to reduce electronic waste, but I understand how it might feel inconvenient at first. “The quality seems good but the sizes are not true. They run small. Bought a 2XL heated fleece vest for my husband (who owns several other vests/garments which are ALL 2XL and fit perfectly.) The Ororo vest apparently runs almost a full size small! It will zip but I would exchange it for a 3XL if I could. Unfortunately, since it was "on sale", it apparently can't be exchanged. This sizing issue should be acknowledged by Ororo in the garment's description. I will not be ordering from this company again.”

“(Open box) heated vest works great. Only issue was when selecting “I need a battery “, the selected battery did not include the charger. I noticed before I ordered and was able to upgrade the battery with charger.”

“This is more like a jacket than coat. The pockets doesn't get really warm. For me this coat is good as long as the outside temp doesn't get colder than 40 degrees. I switch to my other ororo coat if it gets below 40 degrees, especially if I'm going to be outside for a little while, for example if I'm walking my dog.”

“I bought this coat as a person who works in education and has to stand outside in cold NY winters for recess, 5 days a week. I love the brown colors (my fav) and l also love that while it’s a lightweight jacket, it still keeps me warm. It’s light enough to wear under my winter coat but heavy enough for cold fall days. 4 stars instead of 5 bc I wish it had slightly more warmth in the arms and body. But that being said, I love it and wear it everyday!”
