Love the apparel, not the service! I suspect your relying on AI too much versus personal communication is the primary culprit. My story goes back last year or longer when I received heated vest. I bragged on it so much that this Christmas I was gifted with the full heated jacket and 2 other family members also received similar clothing gifts from your company. With 2 separate e mails I tried to clarify my issues. The first had to do with you no longer supplying a wall plug for the battery recharging. That was solved after a few e mail exchanges by you sending me a wall plug. Thank you. However, the second issue being that one of the 2 batteries that came with the jacket did not work and needed to be replaced. It would not charge at all, I even used the new wall plug you supplied to no avail. I did try to contact you by e mail and requested a personal customer call, unfortunately I received no further response until this review request. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I like this vest but wish there had been better explanation about the fit. I got the fleece vest thinking I could wear it over one or two layers and/or under a jacket. I am 5' 3", weigh 115 lbs and usually wear a small. In this vest, if I only wear 1 item under it, it still puckers out at the bust/armpit and is snug at the waist. I had already taken the tags off so unable to exchange for a medium but I think that might have been too big.

Sizing info unreliable (socks). Was granted an “exception” to exchange but I had to pay for shipping both ways. The size chart they published was clearly inconsistent with the product they produce. I’m a size 11 and correctly ordered size L. The socks I received would’ve been appropriate for someone with size 14-15 feet. Despite it being their error, I was supposed to be grateful they allowed me to exchange and pay for shipping.

I purchased this for my husband who doesn’t like to be cold. He initially said he wouldn’t use it and return it. I made him try it and now he really loves it !!! He would like a heated section over the chest though and I see that might be something in the works.

The leather Boise gloves are made beautify. However the sizing is very small and the sizing chart on the website is off by two sizes for me. I normally wear size small gloves. Using the chart size medium should have been more than large enough. After a month long effort I finally was able to exchange the medium size gloves for size large. The large gloves are barely large enough for my size small hands. Great product - terrible sizing chart.

The zipper pull on the vest I purchased recently broke off within 2 days. I contacted customer support and was offered a small refund if I had the repair done locally by my custom tailor. I accepted the offer and was able get the repair done. When I altered customer support that repair was completed I inquired about further assistance under the 90 warranty period should anything else concerning the vest needed to be repaired. I was told figuratively that I had one " bite at the apple" and the vest was no longer covered under the warranty. This was followed by a number of emails in which I said that this answer made no sense. Customer support responded to all of my emails with a stock answer " we are very sorry for your inconvenience but nothing further could be done and that if I needed further assistance please contact us" Had I known that further repairs would not be covered I would have shipped the vest back to ororowear requesting a full refund. But now that I have read other customer reviews apparently favorable customer service is not a high priority to the company.

I purchased a heated vest from Ororo. It doesn't heat at all. I was looking forward to it, but was greatly disappointed. I attend dog shows every weekend and the buildings are always very cold. After talking with so many of my friends that have one, I decided I would get one also.

Love it. Needed something not bulky and yet warm. I often use the heat for a short time and then turn it off. The vest stays warm longer than I expected.
