“I hate to write a negative review, but the coat I ordered was way too small for a 2XL. I normally wear an XL but had read reviews that said they run small so I ordered a 2XL. This isn't even close to that. Its a shame because it was a very cute jacket and I loved the yellow color. Ended up buying a much cheaper 2XL "Chinese" brand off Amazon and it fits large but I will keep it. I did keep the Ororo heated gloves I bought, because they were final sale. I would not particularly recommend them because the part that fits over your wrist and holds the batteries is SO long it goes halfway up my arm. So, its difficult to get THEM on and even more difficult to get a coat OVER the gloves.”

“I could be a spokesperson for Ororo! I researched a lot of heated vests before purchasing my first vest…the zipper has just recently gone on that first vest, I now have three vests. I wear one at work, in a barn ,and it has held up with the rigors of barn work. The other I have for other occasions and running errands. All of my family members have Ororo wear as well and now many of my riding students and family members do as well. Keeps us warm while riding horses and being in the barn. Have also used it as a “heating pad” so to speak when I have had issues with tight muscles. My vest is a game changer!”

“After looking through the materials accompanying my shipment -moronically passing by the comments under the photos/diagrams- I had to contact Ororo to aske a question regarding the onboard lights and the rep very gently indicated that my "malfunction" should have been addressed in those materials. VERY embarrased!!! So... A) your rep deserves a statesmanship award for not laughing out loud; B) your rep could be the poster child for "customer service reps" who freaking know the meaning of the term; C) While chuckling along with my self-deprecatory attemps at humor regarding my reading comprehension skills, I never once got the feeling that she was laughing AT me, merely along with me; so D) I will return to Ororo for future warm wear needs. “I recieved an ororo heated jacket for christmas 2004from my son and it works extreemly well after 1 month. It heats great, and automatically goes to a lower setting once I feel hot. Don't know how it does this but it should help with the battery power. My only concern is the pocket that the battery goes into. it seem like a light weight material that my fray with the weight of the battery in it all the time. I've had this issue with other jackets where the material will fray then rip. Time will tell if this is the case.”

“Women's Heated Chevron Quilted Vest: I absolutely love the 2-way zipper! L.O.V.E. LOVE. LOVE. the zipper! You should have it on all of your vests, jackets and coats. The top of the zipper needs to be covered though, the zipper scratches my neck and under my chin when I am moving in the vest. The lighter-weight material is also a bonus. The pockets should always have zippers on them; with the zipper pulling down to close the pocket. I am afraid I will lose things out of these pockets. The neck is nice, but could be nicer if lined with fleece or another soft material. I have to wash this every other time I wear it because when I sweat the current materials get sweat marks when really the item is not dirty at all. And, again, cover the top of the zipper. More color choices, please! I have referred so many people to your site and products, I should be getting a commission. Thanks for keeping us warm, GF Momma in Indiana”

“I regret buying them. The cuff is very uncomfortable, and won't close all the way if you're wearing a jacket or have a watch. The outer shell really doesn't fit over the inner liner at all, and if you do manage to squeeze it on the cuff of the shell turns off the inner liner more often than not. They're not terribly warm, unless you put big mittens over the outside to try to keep the heat in. I often was checking to see if the liner had turned itself off or not. Just to be clear, the outer shell is not heated. The batteries die so fast. 4 hours is the best I've gotten out of them, but on high it's more like 2 to 3 hours and I need them on high if I want to have not numb hands. The touch screen feature almost works, but the tips of the fingers fit so poorly that you have to sort of use the corner of the glove tip to try to type and it doesn't work very well. I also need these for outdoor work, and because the shell doesn't fit on I was trying to use the liners without the shell and the fingertips are already starting to show damage after the very first time I wore them. I've had them for 2 weeks now, and it is true that heated gloves are better than non-heated gloves, and I don't know how they compare to other heated brands, but overall I'm really disappointed.”

“It is not as warm as I expected after reading many reviews. That being said it does add some warmth. Warmth is more noticeable on the back not front.”

“1. Sizing is poor. I am average size of 5'10" and 170 lbs. 1XL was far too tight and cuff with battery barely went over shirt sleeve. 2XL was comfortable but fingers an inch too long. Cuff with battery barely went over ski jacket. 2. Heating was very nice indoors. Skiing in single digits into teens, Icould not tell they were on. 3. Very nice leather. Too bad the issues could not be resolved.”

“This is my second jacket. The heated pockets and color appealed to me. The instructions weren't helpful because of the location of the "on" button. I would have liked the pocket heaters to remain higher when the heat is automatically reduced.”

“Well I will rate hopefully better when I get my exchange. My gloves were too big... brand new and at first they said they wouldn't take them back. Then they agreed to take them back. $99 gloves and it cost me $51 to send them back for exchange. So we will see. I couldn't believe I couldn't do an exchanage for a smaller size... I wrote to them a day after I recieve the incorrect sizs. OMG..”

“I love this vest and never want to take it off! It fits true to size. I am 5'11", 150# and the medium fits great. I wear mediums in most women's clothing with the exception of sizing up to large for comfort. I am glad I did not size up since this fits great even over a light sweater. The heat is amazing!!”

“The heated leather gloves are wonderful. I’m just wondering why, why, why wouldn’t you make the cuffs large enough to fit comfortably over coat sleeves like every other glove? You either have to put the coat sleeve over the gloves, and then you can’t get to the controller, or the sleeves are bunched up at the wrists. As a life long skier, I have had a multitude of gloves over the years and ALL of them fit over my coat sleeves. While I love the comfort and warmth of these that is the criticism I have. And it’s a pretty big one.”

“I bought a vest and for some reason the battery wasn’t charging as it should ! I made a call to the company and they explained what may be the problem and sent me a gift certificate to get what I may need to fix the problem! I had my doubts but this worked and the problem was solved! Thank you so much Ororowear! Love my vest! Will be wearing this many times”
