“Horrible experience,they appear on the website when you search for delivery as being the first ones.I needed to send some oats and seeds were on their prohibited items list.Most of their items are prohibited.Now they are asking me for return fees.I said to them they can keep them.Really frustrating,really bad company.Never again.Stay away.”
“Parcel was delivered damaged and nearly 30 days late. There was no compensation for the damage despite paying extra for insurance, and there was no compensation for the 30-days delay despite paying extra for the express 3-day service.
The support was very poor and the parcel was only delivered after I personally contacted the courier directly to sort out the problem. Parcelcompare support team emailed me to help solve the problem 3 days after the parcel was actually delivered, (which means they had no idea where item was), and the parcel was only delivered because I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the courier firm directly.
Their service does not provide a telephone number for customer support or shipping problems.
Does anyone believe I am happy or satisfied?

I sent 5 boxes from the UK to Australia almost 6 weeks ago. Only 3 boxes arrived two weeks ago very damaged. One box in particular contained a coffee machine which has been broken in transit. Although I paid insurance to cover breakages/damages, ParcelCompare refuse to pay. Their reply emails which start by saying that they are ‘so sorry for the damage’, comes across as patronising when they have absolutely no intention of putting in an insurance claim. They may be cheaper than going directly to the likes of UPS or DHL but in the long run, you lose money through their lack of care and refusal to honour what you’ve paid for. This company is a sham and should not be operating, I only hope I receive my two boxes yet to be delivered!”

Booked a courier service through this company and received an email from parcel compare 3 days after the parcel was delivered to request more money due to the parcel apparently weighing more than was specified. Dispute was opened and all evidence to support my claim was sent. All my emails were ignored and money was removed from my bank account without my consent. The parcel actually weighed less than was specified and yet they charged me 3 times the orginal price!”
“I have spent hundreds of pounds trying to get two parcels to Romania for the war effort in Ukraine. Romanian customs aside, and they played their part, this company doesn't actually have the power to deliver parcels to the destination. They are a powerless interim provider who cannot influence either the courier or customs. They charge you for something they ultimately can't deliver and that my friend, is a scam.
There are men running around in trainers in Ukraine with missile launchers on their shoulders because their combat boots didn't get delivered. A critical range rover is still off the road, one that transported refugees and medical equipment. Enough said”
“I was very impressed with the speedy collection of my parcel but once it got to the UK it was a different matter. Apparently three delivery attempts have been made and on the last occasion I was at home all day and no-one attempted to deliver my parcel. No cards have been left informing me of the attempted deliveries nor have I received any mobile phone messages/calls. I paid a lot of money and feel that I have only received half a service ... I am still awaiting the safe arrival of my parcel and it is almost two weeks since it was collected!!!! I certainly won't be using them again nor recommending them! Such a shame as the service started so well”

As you can see I sent parcel from UK to Germany and i paid £12 on Parcelcompare.com so I was thinking its ok. “I have a current collection and delivery booked in with Parcelcompare (with parcel force). It was supposed to be collected yesterday and they failed to do so, so re booked it for today and they haven’t collected it again!!!!
They told me to wait until 6pm and if not collected then to contact them, but they all seem to log off at 6pm so I get no reply!!!

I too am being chased for the oversize and overweight package scam. My 38kg package was 79kgs at their audit. The package was 30cms bigger. The cost increasing from £36 to £125 surcharge. The onus on me to provide photographic proof of weight and dimensions.
Lewis Enfield is in fact a bot which is why all the correspondence is generic and does not answer my questions. I called my bank and have put a stop on Parcelcompare taking any more money from my account. I suggest you do the same.”

“Parcel Compare are Incompetent, Unprofessional and cheap as they they don't really care when your parcel arrives - I fell for their trick called Multi-Courier Service which I now realise the only option- BEWARE this simply means computer will find cheapest route which could be comical - it will take as long as it takes as they get you to agree to Multi-Courier - You will no come back to them. My UK-Cyprus parcel was sent depo to depo for one week -before they decided it will sent by POST office - it will apparently arrive in one or two weeks instead of 3-5 their web site promised.”

I was sending a parcel from the U.K. to NZ it was collected by UPS as booked on the 25th March I tracked to Heathrow until the 29th then all tracking stopped. I waited a few days then contacted them asking for tracking info . The parcel was supposed to be delivered on the 5th April . I waited some time to be told they would have to investigate further . After a couple of weeks I received a short email saying there was a size issue. I had to ask what it was and it was a week later before anyone responded. I also asked why I had to contact them almost a month after my parcel was collected to find out where it was .
My parcel was returned back to me today without being told when it would be arriving only to find when I got home it was dumped on my doorstep in VERY poor condition. They had the check to charge me for it’s return after already costing me £118 ( including insurance)
We opened the very damaged box only to find that the item is damaged. Given that it’s a metal chandelier which is impossible to bend by hand it must have been very badly handled to bend it as they have . UPS is the courier service we booked through parcelcompare . I have emailed them but still haven’t had a response.
Their customer service is absolutely shocking . The 1 star is too much I would have preferred to be able to give them a minus star”
“This company is an absolute scam. I received the initial service without issue however it is their actions AFTER delivery that is the problem.
I got many quotes online to deliver my suitcase from UK to USA. This company was the cheapest via DHL. I paid 101 GBP and was really impressed with the service. The instructions were clear, DHL picked up my bag and delivered in a day early. I had packed the suitcase a month earlier before I left for the States and weighed it. It was under 27kg. My family confirmed it was 26.2kg. I obtained the quote rounding the weight and some of the dimensions up so as to be sure I was paying the correct fee.
TWO weeks after delivery (and conveniently after every human would have opened their package etc) I got an email stating that DHL had audited the shipment and they were going to charge my card another 211 GBP because the weight of my bag was not 27kg ... it was 86kg. Absolutely ludicrous. I had 5 days to appeal it, which obviously I did.
I sent multiple photographs of the suitcase with a tape measure in inches and cm. Luckily I took a photo of the suitcase seconds after it was delivered to show my family it came. After sending these as part of the appeal and explaining my 65 year old mother carried the case down two flights of stairs and the lone delivery man lifted it from my door to his van - in addition to the structure of the case not even being able to hold 86kg - their statement was not possible.
I didn't receive a response to this email. I instead received a second email stating that DHL have audited the shipment and that the dimensions of my bag were larger than I had stated. The length of my package was 109cm. This is DESPITE being in receipt of photographic evidence that the tallest my bag was 75cm - LESS than what I paid for.
I was advised I had until 26 April to appeal this. On 21st April they charged my card 75 GBP. I am now reporting it as fraud to my bank.
I naturally went back to them about the photographic evidence they can see with their eyes. I was advised I only sent photos of the suitcase and not the box. So I went back again explain it wasn't in a box. It was a suitcase. And I sent a photo of the suitcase - not in a box - just after it was delivered.
I received an email back confirming they need to check this information with DHL. Which is confusing to me because apparently it is DHL who is advising them of these weights and dimensions in the first place is it not? Or is it? I then got asked to describe the item. Even though they have SEVEN clear photographs of the item.
They are clearly making up ways to charge your card after the fact. When you challenge one thing they make up another. I have never experienced something so blatantly fraudulent in my life. And they specifically do it when few people would actually still have the "evidence" they are asking for to appeal it. Absolutely shocking,”
