“Missed a delivery, spoke to someone who promised me that it would go out the next day and therefore arrive in time for my fiance's birthday, I checked and she clarified that it would 100% got out the next day and be with me. Waited in all day, no delivery so phoned up to be told it was still sat in the depot waiting and no request to send it out had been received, therefore it would not be arriving in time for my fiance's birthday, then told someone would phone me back and no-one bothered to call me back. Disgusted with the poor service and very diaspponuted that you've ruined my fiance's birthday. Will also be contacting the company I originally ordered from to advise them of the appalling customer service Parcel Force provides.”
“I have now waited for my expensive parcel, it has the correct address is on Express 48. Did not arrive on Monday, tracking showed unable to deliver, called customer service told them I had waited all day, they promised to deliver Tuesday, same thing unable to deliver called again they promised again to deliver Wednesday, they took my phone number so they could give it to the driver so he call me when he arrived to prove he was trying to deliver it. No delivery no phone call. Three further phone calls to Parcelforce who now tell me the parcel is damaged and they won't be delivering it nor returning it sender so angry I have waited in for 3 days still don't have my bicycle. Now have to contact the company that made my bike in the morning but as this bike was made for me there is no hope of them being able to dispatch another within a few days.”
“it was a terrible experience, and i bought a printer and opted for next day delivery as i really needed one, and didnt want to continue paying to print in school. i ordered on sat and the order processed on monday and was dispatched on tuesday. i didnt go for my classes and stayed at home in order to receive the parcel, and received a message at 12.26pm that the parcel was coming in from 12.55 - 1.55pm. I kept looking out of my window from around 12.50pm but didnt see any vans or delivery person. i tracked my parcel online and was told that there was a delivery attempt at 12.41pm. i went immediately went to the letterbox and saw a delivery notice saying that my parcel is ready for collection at post office AND THE NOTICE IS DATED YESTERDAY'S DATE. this goes to show how irresponsible the driver is, to get the dates wrong and also leave without even giving me a call or going to the reception. he literally just came and didnt even try to deliver, and immediately left the note. i immediately called parcelforce and was redirected many times, eventually to the depot where the really rude staff hung up my call twice while i am still speaking. eventually i managed to arrange for them to re-deliver it tomorrow, and made sure that they left a note to the driver to head to reception so that i can get a call to inform me that my parcel is here. i spent an hour over the phone, where the lady shouted at me and made many rude comments about how it's my problem that i wasnt in to collect. however, i have been in the whole day but how was i to know that the driver was here if i didnt receive any calls. further, he came earlier than the time he told me. the lady over the phone eventually promised me to get the driver to come by tomorrow around lunch time since he will be in my area. later in the afternoon while i was in a class, i received a message saying that my parcel is ready for collection at the post office. i called parcel force again and this time a different lady picked up my call and again insisted that i was in the wrong and that nobody promised me that my parcel will be re-delivered tomorrow. she even said that the post office is near to my place and i should pick it up myself. isnt the whole point of paying for delivery so that i dont have to lug it and carry it back? if i had wanted to carry it, i would have just gone to the store to get it immediately. later she insisted that nobody promised me and that i didnt speak to anyone, even though i was able to tell her exactly when i called. the service is absolutely horrible. later she insisted that if i were to insist on re-delivery, i will have to wait till thurs or friday, but i will not be in on both days as i have classes. after paying for next day delivery i end up having to wait for close to a week, its absolutely ridiculous. eventually, i got really sick of her being rude over the phone and told her that i will go to the post office to collect myself. she just hung up the phone after scoffing. i cannot believe that they can be so rude and I WILL NEVER EVER USE PARCELFORCE AGAIN IN MY LIFE, and to all those who are reading this, please do not use parcelforce, you are probably better off throwing whatever you want to send in the bin since looking at the reviews, it either dosent arrive or it takes ages to arrive. i have never ever written a review for anything in my whole life, and this is the first time i feel so so disappointed and angry”
“Delivered a parcel to main post office last wednesday 14 th was told as it weighed 2.2 kg would have to go parcel farce 48 hour delivery ,,,,,, wait for it £12.98 so paid up been checking the tracking and it was delivered this morning what rubbish service waste of time will not be using again ,I can now see first hand why their reviews are sooo bad parcel had to go from dorset to Yorkshire”
“Discusting service.paid for 48hour delivery, five days lata had to contact seller who tracked parcel.said attempted delivery but no card was left.had to find which depot parcel was at and then contact them to find out which post office to pick it up from.this company is a joke, stay well clear.”
“I've had several unacceptable experiences with Parcelforce - on every occasion I'm at home waiting for the delivery during the allotted time slot. I receive a text during that time to tell me there has been an attempted delivery and a delivery card has been posted through my door. Firstly, I have been in the room next to the front door and have heard no knocks and secondly no card is ever posted through my door. The driver may or may not decide to deliver the parcel after my allowed slot later that evening, or possibly not at all. Clearly the drivers are behind schedule and don't even attempt to deliver the parcel!!”
“took 3 days to deliver a parcel with 24 hour delivery last week, parcel was put on delivery van 3 times before it was delivered, that was last week, similar story this week, all at Newport depot, bunch of incompetent uneducated morons couldn't organise a pi$$ up in a brewery.”
“I have never received such an unacceptable service...I am genuinely surprised that parcelforce are still in business with an ethos which clearly places the importance of good customer service down the very bottom of their operations! We have a business account with parcelforce and in the past few months have had, missed collections, damaged items, consignments being split despite stating clearly they needed to remain together, missed deliveries, missed deadlines, they appear to have zero control over their drivers (who incidentally seem to run the show), drivers and account managers with zero accountability, promises of returned calls that never happen, elusive account managers, a dis-jointed system which doesn't seem to let anyone see a big picture of what is going on....awful service please go elsewhere!”
“If I could give Parcelforce 0 stars I would. I was expecting a large, expensive delivery today. Not only was I home ALL DAY and the driver did not once ring my doorbell (which is very loud), but for some reason the packages were handed off to a complete stranger. I live on a long street in London and do not know all my neighbours, so when a delivery driver leaves an expensive package without my authorisation to someone I don't know who lives half-way up my street, I feel a right to complain. I called Parcelforce TWICE and they were astonishingly unhelpful; while I had the name of the person who signed for my package they could not tell me the address at which the person signed. Apparently it is their policy to deliver to neighbours WITHOUT CONSENT. I'm stunned by how stupid this policy is. Now I have to go and knock on lots more doors...”
“Absolutely Terrible... These incompetent people ended up handing my package over to a stranger living in an apartment complex next to me. They could have sold my expensive package before I ever even knew they had it. No wonder the reviews all across the internet are nearly unanimous in there contempt and hatred for this pathetic company.”
“Parcel Force next day delivery service, total joke , spent a whole day home ,to be told there was no one in and no delivery card left, did see a parcel force van drive straight past around the time the alleged delivery attempt took place. Second day wasn't even loaded on to a van , ended up driving and picking up parcel from depot myself”
“I want to know why Parcelforce 48 takes 3-4 days (and longer sometimes) to deliver a parcel from Bradford to just north of Inverness???
Other couriers manage it in 24 hrs, I know I've had them.
I wish companies would offer a courier option to their customers rather than sticking with their one contracted and substandard courier”
“Parcel dispatched at Monday 28th October, 2015 by parcelforce 48hrs, item bought on ebay, info for delivery time on ebay 1-2 october, but info from parcelforce 30sep-1oct, 30th sept nothing, 1st october nothing, 2nd october nothing, even no single call from them, i called them around 4.20pm at 2nd october, 1st call 5mins listen f... music and super info about super service, on the end managed contact with some guy, he was very rude and told me parcel is on the way and put phone down, 2nd call 10mins music same guy i told him parcel number he put phone down!!!!!!, 3rd call i 4.42pm 8mins music, some another different guy answered, and now he saying that sender put wrong number and they had to locate parcel and resend it, so from now he saying 48hrs going again from moment when it was loaded to truck then 5 mins later saying that from moment when it was delivered to depot!!!! thats 1st lie, 2nd lie is that sender put wrong address but i got message from sender that he put proper address and they didnt ask him about porper address, however interesting is how they found that it has been delivered to wrong address without contactin sender or me???? thats 3rd lie, next problem is that guy was interrupting all the time when i was trying to say something, was very loudly speaking to me when i was trying to say anything, then he said me that he will let know in depot to deliver that parcel in 1-2 hrs???? so parcel was loaded on delivery truck or was in depot? 3rd lie? i agreed to stay in home and wait for courier but its 8 pm and no courier, that lying guy told me that it will be today then he wished me nice weekend what a prick”
“SHOCKING SERVICE! As a business customer of Parcelforce, (a small business - but does it matter?) I continue to be amazed at their terrible service! I will be leaving them asap. They loose parcels, don't care about that, don't communicate with the customer, don't collect on time (not even on the right day!) and still the account charges every time are for the expensive 24 hour service we use.”
“I needed to send a document overseas, and it had to arrive by today (Tuesday). So I spoke with the Parcel Force rep at the post office last Friday morning, and they assured me that if I paid for the priciest expensive option (well over £60), the document would definitely arrive on time, seeing how there would be three working days (Friday, Saturday, and Monday) to process the delivery.
But upon tracking the documents today, it appears to have JUST arrived at the destination country, which means it hasn't been delivered. I called Parcel Force customer service, and they weren't very helpful or polite, only saying that the documents would be delivered at a later time (not very specific)...”
“parcel force is the most awful delivery company. I don't understand how this company is still on business. my parcel has been returned to the delivery depot for 3 consecutive because the delivery man couldn't make time to drop my package, and finally i had to collect my parcel from post office.”
“My partner and I are from Australia and we moved to London. I sent my work clothes and a few extra pieces from overseas to save money After paying the extra money requested by post, we received a confirmation email after we paid on Thursday 17/09 that the parcel payment would be processed on Friday and delivered Monday 21/09.
I waited on Monday and the parcel did not arrive.
I waited on Tuesday and the parcel did not arrive. I rang parcel force three times throughout the day and requested the Depot (London southwest) call me back. they did not.
I heard nothing on Wednesday.
I rang on Thursday- They gave me the number for the Depot and apologised on their behalf. They noted that they were not part of that depot, and encouraged me to call them directly.
I did.
The operator assured me that they had not received the three requests to call me earlier in the week, and that there must have been a glitch in the system, and that my parcel would be in the mail tomorrow.
I waited all day on Friday.
I rang Friday afternoon to enquire about the parcel. They said it was still at the depot.
I rang the depot directly twice.
Both times I was placed on call waiting for 13 minutes before being cut off and told that they were experiencing difficulties and were unable to take my call.
I called the generic line and got through to another depot.
The lady I talked to understood my concern. We are also in the process of moving house, and we do not want a parcel delivered to an empty house.
I told her my experience with calling the depot and saying they had not received my complaints. The lady was shocked. She could see that there were FOUR requests attached to my parcel number and effectively the depot had LIED about not receiving my requests.
She created a 5th request for me not only asking that the depot call me directly but to arrange a Saturday delivery free of charge.
It is Saturday. We have not had a call back. We do not have a parcel. We are moving house.
Parcelforce, lying, and avoiding the problem altogether is not customer service. It is like you are going out of your way to give us bad customer service.”
“Parcel force has always been the worst of the worst, they don't even attempt their deliverys and the customer service is way below average . I wouldn't advise anyone to send or receive mail/parcel with them.”
“Paid for the Express 24 service and was given the option of choosing a collection time. I chose no later than 16.30, the parcel was finally picked up at 18.15. This apparently then meant that it could not be delivered the next day, like I had paid for, and therefore would be delivered the day after.
I sent the parcel Express 24 as it had to be there the next day. When I tweeted @Parcelforce for some assistance and some idea of when it would be delivered, they could only apologise but not tell me what time the receiver could expect the parcel.
I suggested Parcel Force to my client as I've only ever previously had good experiences with them. This experience not only inconveniences my client, but reflects poorly on me. I will not be using them again.”
