“Quick turn around on two custom laptops. Seems bizarre that they have started sending out laptops without Windows 10 Pro licensed. This seems to be a new thing I think since Windows 11 has been released. Means a little more configuring once we receive the machine. We have previously had repairs carried out on previous orders and the turn around on repairs is much slower than on new orders. This may have been resolved now though as we have not needed a repair for quite a while. Generally a good build and would use again.”

“I recently purchased a custom laptop and I'm extremely happy with my experience at PCSpecialist. The product is great, reasonably priced and delivery was faster than expected. The box it came in had plenty of protection to avoid damages in transit. It was easy to customise and the website offered an easy to use chat system for any questions I had. There was a slight issue with a part from an external cooling system I purchased with the laptop, but this was resolved fairly quickly and the customer service representative was easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend”

“Unfortunately the laptop did not work properly when I first started using it - blue screen of death appearing - and it had to be returned. I received it back after a an incompatible component was replaced. It is now the best computer I have owned.”

“This is the third time I have purchased a PC from PC Specialist; like the choice on offer, the easy to navigate website, the no-pressure ordering service and clear pricing. Why purchase an 'off-the-shelf' high street package when you can purchase a computer built exactly as you want it with the PC Specialist website guiding you to compatible components? It is a no-brainer, and prices are competitive too.”

“PC Specialist have the best website for specing a new machine. It is reasonably intuitive and has a great check that ensures the components you select are compatible. When they are not it gives good guidance on what to do. There is just no other site that is this flexible and user-friendly. I raised a query for one issue once the machine had been delivered and their response was quick and helpful. Highly recommended. Unfortunately when they ask for a review they use reviews.io and the reviews.io website does not work properly with firefox. To do this review I had to start again with chrome.”

“Excellent comms throughout the process. The configurator actually told me I’d specified a power supply that was more powerful than I needed so I could save some money. The build looks great, any spare cables were supplied and so far it’s been completely problem-free. I’d recommend them highly”

“Ordering a pc was easy and helpful comments if you tried to order a modification to configuration which wouldn't work. Very prompt build and delivery. The only issue was that PC wouldn't start, had to open case and push some connections into place. Works well now - hence 4 stars”

“It's quite a novel advantage to be able to spec your own machine. Having the quote for what I wanted I could seach for comparable machines and compare prices. I couldn't find anything that was close for the money. PCSpecialist built my business computer several years ago as well as this new laptop and I'm very happy with both.”

“Excellent custom build website, followed by regular updates and an efficient delivery service. Key element was that the product was beautifully packaged enabling a stress free journey to Canada where once set-up (very easily) the computer works perfectly. Nice work team!”
