“Being able to configure your own computer is such a bonus in this day and age, which was a high spec desktop in my case. When you search the web for a ready built computer from places like eBuyer, Scan, Currys etc, there are always one or two components different to what you actually want, meaning you have to compromise. This doesn't happen with a self-configured PC such as those that eventuate from PC Specialist, or any PC configuration company for that matter. From the time the PC was configured and booked online, it took exactly 9 days (including weekends) till delivery, which means it was inside their stated 4-7 'working' days for delivery - very impressive. The unit was well boxed with a plethora of documentation to get you up and running. Upon switching on, the PC was ready to go with no problems. A very satisfying experience all round from a company I had never heard of. However... I did deduct one star from my rating because of PC Specialist 'Price Match' policy, which is really non-existent, as it is impossible to configured a PC from another supplier to exactly match the specs from the PC you configured with PC Specialist - particularly if you use proprietary PC Specialist components like PC cases, RAM, extended warranty, etc. On my first quote, I asked for a price match, but was made to jump through hoops to try and prove a matching PC from another supplier, even though the two PC's were almost identical - but almost identical is not enough for PC Specialist. I was asked to change the specs on my 'PC Specialist' configuration to match those of the comparison PC, which meant I would end up with a PC I wasn't happy with. Then after a few days, the saved quotation that was being price matched was deleted from the PC Specialist system! So don't waste your time with price matching.”

“This was my second purchase from PC Specialist, my first lasting an impressive trouble free 11 years before the hard drive finally died. Can't fault this company. Simple to use website. Constant order updates. Impressive customer service. In an age where telephone customer support has become abysmal, my calls were all answered within 4 minutes and my follow up email within 12 hours. All backed by a 3 year warranty. Buy with confidence.”

“Delivery was quick. Went to the wrong place but hardly the companies fault. The laptop however struggles to start, turns itself off and occasionally loads then nothing is clickable and must be turned off by holding the pet button as it’s unresponsive. Setting tone it turns on it’s fine”

“I’m really impressed with how quickly I got my pc. Was less than a week from order to delivery and was over a weekend. The pc is perfect, looks amazing and runs beautifully. Really easy to start up with great instructions on the few things I needed to do. This is my 3rd pc from pc specialist and have always been happy with the product and service. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.”

“Such an easy website to use and the prices are fantastic. I normally shop with Novatech but have recently switched and I don't think I'd ever go back. Laptop is working beautifully, I'm very very impressed. The price is just a bonus! It arrived earlier than I expected. I think it was around 3 days from order date which is just fantastic!”

“Ordering and setting up a new PC can be a confusing experience because of the way technology changes. The ordering process is made relatively simple by the automatic checks that ensure compatibility between the components in the build - giving clear warnings where, for example, a power supply selected would be insufficient to support components selected later in the ordering process. The build and delivery of the PC I ordered took less than 3 weeks and progress within that time was clear to see by logging into my account. Initial setup of the new PC was made simple by clear instructions with photos - what to plug in where etc. This is the second PC I have bought from PC Specialist, my previous PC has lasted for 6 years without problems so I felt confident about ordering my new PC from them.”

“Lots of choice on the website for customisation, the site helps you if certain parts won't go with what you want. Makes it easy to buy a high end PC for someone who doesn't know everything about computer parts. The most impressive part was the speed of the build and delivery. Once it arroved just plug and play, nice and simple.”

“Brilliant ordering process- quick, good breakdowns of component features, build wizard to check compatability and power needs. Good supporting breakdown of process post-order so you can track the build and understand whats going on. PC arrived within 7 days, well packaged and has been used since for 3D design and rendering and loving the performance.”

“Really pleased. Selected all my specs and had my new PC a couple of days later, delivered quickly with clear setup advice. Got a great machine that would have cost a lot more if I went to one of the major brands. Couldn't ask for anything more and couldn't recommend enough.”
