The price is good and there were a lot of components to pick from but after that everything is very slow and unpleasant the build time took them 2 weeks longer than it should´ve and the shipping said 4 days even tho it`s actually going to take 1,5 weeks. Also PLEASE start using any other shipping company than fedex their the worst shipping company and i cant pay my VAT because of them

I usually build my computers myself, but weighed up the prices of the components individually plus the hassle of actually fitting it all on the Mobo and cable management and it just seemed sensible to let PCSpecialist do it for me. There have been a few niggles though: -- Whilst building in options I added a wireless card and the builder page said it was not required. Turns out it was required as the Mobo didn't have wireless. -- Performance when multi-tasking was awful. I regularly play games and watch Netflix, but performance of both were so bad I almost just returned it straight away. After digging through some settings it turns out that Norton was trying to prioritise my game.. but actually made both terrible. I will be force removing Norton asap. -- I tend to leave my computer on most of the time and let it sleep whilst i'm away, and it seems to have issues with waking up. It doesn't wake up properly and i have to restart via the case. -- I also seem to bought it at the wrong time as it should have come just before Easter (according to the planned dates), but because it overran Easter holidays dragged it out a little longer. Also during that time NVidea dropped their prices of GFX cards drastically so AMD did the same, so ordering a few weeks later it should have been a few hundred pounds cheaper for same thing. On the plus notes, it is smaller than my other PC but i'm loving running in 4k with all the settings on ultra (when Norton is put back in its place). Cables are nice and tidy. The box was heavily damaged on delivery, but the packing was really good and the damage was limited to the outer box.

The PC seems to be working fine, but there were a few minor issues on delivery. The case is cracked and a little bit of plastic broken off, the selected browser wasn't installed and Windows did not activate automatically. The damage is superficial, installing the browser didn't take long and the code for manual activation of Windows was on a sticker on the back of the computer, so none of these were huge problems, but it doesn't give the ideal impression of care and attention to detail.

Once we had resolved some out of stock issues, the service was first class and the new laptop is working well.

Installation of Windows 10 had a number of issues as it froze at one stage and was unable to proceed so contacted technical support who sorted out the issue. Once it was installed a number of Windows 10 updates were completed. Windows started, but unable to log in using the sign in screen. Contacted technical support a second time and the only way to resolve this issue was to re-install Windows 10 from scratch via USB drive. Technical support were very supportive, but these installation difficulties were very time consuming and should not be an issue with a new laptop. Delivery delayed due to 3 Bank Holidays hampering 'build time'. A Good Price.

We bought a few high-end PCs, and the desktop has all been good, but they were not cheap. However, the Laptop that cost more than £2000 Keep break and we can not trust it, so it is a paperweight would highly recommend it for Desktop PC, but we would not buy any laptop from them again and would stay with Lenovo

Laptop look and feel is excellent and priced very well. Unfortunately the laptop screen was not working on delivery. Disappointed to say the least with such a basic fault. Laptop is currently back with PC Specialist for a fix. On the good side this has proven the service from PC Specialist to be excellent.

Experience was ok: easy online process and delivery within a week. Stoping there my experience was great! Once I got the PC unboxed and switched on, I however had the unpleasant surprise that key brand logos were replaced by PC specialist own logo...imagine paying for a nice Corsair RGB CPU liquid cooler only to see a PC specialist logo instead of Corsair on the pump head...bad! Especially that nowhere this was communicated... I could remove the added sticker on the case too but this isn't was I was expected. Had to fork another £30 to receive the correctly branded RGB pump head from a third party... A shame as everything else was great!

The customer service has been good so far and the PC came with the desired specification. However there seems to be a problem with the graphics card which will hopefully be sorted out soon.

I was investing a large sum in a new laptop (£2k to £3k)for business purposes and primarily to handle CAD / 3D render files. Having shopped about and read reviews PC Specialist configuration of the machine was easy with online help ( that actually worked !) as required. Following purchase updates were accurate and regular. The laptop arrived a day early ( bonus !) and was easy to set up with preloads and spec of drives as expected. Its early days to comment on the expected capability / reliability, there have been (as is noted in the config notes) a few times where onboard fans have gone into super speed mode and x2 occasions when the laptop has 'bombed out' ie: switched off mid-use, neither of which was when using the 3D software which is unusual. I'm notifying PC Specialist and expect it will be swiftly dealt with as with everything else so far. The 'bomb outs' is why I'm giving 3 stars at the moment but will revisit this. In summary customer service excellent, hardware reliability some questions.

The pricing and attention to detail of the builders is incredible the PC was well built however the case fan options need improvement as some people like myself like to have all the case fans the same so I went ahead and stuck my own in as soon as I got it. Another thing I did not realise was how tall the RAM was and I wanted the AIO at the top so again I went ahead and switched this out and unfortunately will have to sell the RAM but that’s partly my fault. Overall it’s a solid PC with Solid pricing and the only thing which doesn’t make it 5 stars is the configuration doesn’t give u many options such as the way you want your AIO mounted or if you could switch out your AIO fans and case fans and not just stop saying “this case has 2 fans already” blah blah lol but overall I’m happy and I do recommend them over any other system builder!

Great machine delivered however graphics card clip was missing so when delivered the graphics card was loose and fell away. I had to open up the shell and fit the graphics card in only to find a missing clip on the motherboard that is used to keep the graphics card in place. I bought the machine because I didn't understand how to put a pc together myself but had to finish putting it together myself. -1 star for the missing clip and another -1 star for having to finish putting the pc together myself. It's still a great machine that was delivered.

Delivery was quick. Went to the wrong place but hardly the companies fault. The laptop however struggles to start, turns itself off and occasionally loads then nothing is clickable and must be turned off by holding the pet button as it’s unresponsive. Setting tone it turns on it’s fine

Overall the laptop that I bought was very good, but the camera is rubbish. I'm told that I shouldn't expect anything better with just 1Mpixel camera, but surely it should be in focus and not washed out. Very disappointed when I have had several computers from them over the years and not had a problem.

Ordering was easy and the configurator good enough to advise for incompatible components, they took requests after I ordered regarding fan/radiator placement. Build time took a couple of weeks but within their provided estimate for dispatch and the PC was delivered next day. Setting up was easy however for some reason they had plugged some of my case fans into a waterpump header which by defaults runs at 100% RPM, was able to gain control of this through the BIOS to treat as a normal fan header but should have been noticed during building really. After a day of use i heard a cable getting caught in one of my fans, easy enough to fix but not sure why this needed to occur, to give the benefit of doubt it could have been moved during transit and was an easy fix. Rest of the service along with aftercare is very solid. Would recommend but strange little issues should have been sorted before being shipped out.

Actual build quality was very good and when I called customer support due to a problem with the GPU they were friendly and helpful but did try to tell me the GPU I had ordered was out of stock and I would have to go with a lower priced model until I kicked up a fuss and one magically appeared in the stockroom. However, the way the PC was packaged with no GPU support meant that the GPU was broken when it got delivered. Due to delivery of the PC being a Friday, no deliveries from PC Specialist over the weekend and a complete shambles on DPD’s part I had to wait until Tuesday to get my new GPU. Overall a good experience but in my opinion PC Specialist need to look at packaging and choose a different delivery company.

Fantastic service but was given a faulty Graphics Card on delivery. I only have it 'fixed' because I've lodged a bit of wood inside to keep it seated when it already should be. If not for the fantastic service I'd have given this a 2 or 1 star. Still considering resending just the card back to get a replacement.

I have only had the PC for two weeks now. So far so good, everything works and I have got nothing to report so far... but it's only been two weeks, so I can't quite give it 5* as it would seem premature? Happy to update the review in a year's time, for now though, the service has been good and I would recommend/buy again from Pc Specialist.
