“Having bought my son a new pc a couple of years ago from pcspecialist I was very happy to be able to have my pc built to my specifications and at a very reasonable price too. The web site I found very easy to use, with the option of online chat to check anything I needed to. Very pleased with the final item. My only gripe is that from order to delivery was a bit over 4 weeks, so if you are happy to wait that long for your new pc then I can recommend pcspecialist.”

“Took a bit long but is perfectly understandable. PC arrived with zero damage. PC also seems to be set up perfectly needing minimal tweaking from me. So overall a very good experience.”

“Absolutely fantastic PC. The build quality is great and really well finished. The internal cable management is clean and tidy and most importantly the customer support is absolutely incredible. At each stage of the build I was able to check how it was going, I could see who was working on the PC at different stages and the instructions that came with the PC when it arrived were clear and concise. Brilliant service!”

“Overall great service - website is really easy to use and the support staff are responsive and willing to help with any queries. Also, really liked the Forum section as it allowed me to post my spec before I paid where members were able to offer some tweaks, which I would not have been aware off (my first PC build). Easy to keep up to date with the time line of your order, which moved quickly once through pre-production. Only negative was surrounding the case as it came with an inner part taped together hence the deducted a star. Will be in contact with live support though where I am sure they will be able to assist. Would definitely use this service again in the future and also recommend.”

“I was very happy with my order. The desktop arrived very well packaged. Had to wait a good length of time for the order to pass the (pre-production) stage but I was expecting this to happen because of covid. Was very quick through all the other stages though. The desktop runs very smoothly and has been built to a very high standard, love looking through the clear glass case and seeing all the components and how neatly the wiring has been fitted. Would definitely order from PC Specialist again and would recommend them to other people or friends who are looking a decent pc built.”

“I am completely happy with both the service I received and the PC I bought. Even when I changed the spec after ordering it was dealt with smoothly and they even added a cable for me that wasn't on the spec at all. The only negative is the pre-production wait (awful when you can't wait to get your hands on your new PC!), but the company was up front about this from the start and kept me well informed of progress. Actual production to delivery was very swift. I'm very happy to recommend PC Specialist.”

“If you want to save yourself the hassle of finding custom computer components, especially a GPU, and putting it all together, then I'd highly recommend PCSPECIALIST. The only downide is the waiting, but that can't be helped. My build took about 21 WORKING DAYS, which I hear is about average, obviously will take longer if you're waiting for an item to come back into stock. Overal highly recommended.”

“The product is generally very good. I've been using it now for two months. It's a 'work' computer - so onboard graphics, used for documents, spreadsheets etc and not anything particularly demanding. For some reason, this PC seems more likely to 'hang' than the one I used previously (with exactly the same set up) - I'm guessing that will be more to do with Windows and the motherboard rather than any thing PCSpecialist has done - but choice of motherboard is something they do have and some are more stable than others. There were a few negatives worth mentioning: - the specified lead time is long for what should be a standard product but in my case it took a lot longer. I received a lot of emails which seemed designed to assure me everything was going to plan but didn't contain any new information. But I finally realised it wasn't coming on time and I had to chase to get my PC delivered. To be fair, once I chased hard, they got on with it. - in the set up there were some things that I needed to spend quite a lot of time on. For instance: file explorer could not 'see' the DVD drive so I had no way of loading software from DVD (something I need to do for my work). The fix wasn't trivial. My expectation would have been that 'testing' included checking that all devices were functioning (including the DVD). - for an office computer, I need a lot of USB connections and I found that the USB port count was down on previous tower computers I've had. I had to procure an additional desktop USB hub which is desk clutter I'd sooner not have. I did find it difficult to understand from the website how many ports I would get. For these reasons, I'm giving it 3 stars overall.”

“I have bought a number of PCs and laptops from PC Specialist over the last two years all of which work well and were good value for money. Their technical support is very good and they always reply to requests in a timely fashion. I would recommend them. Their initial supply times can be a little slow, but I don't mind waiting for a custom build.”

“Customer Service was great! staff are really helpful throughout the process of making the order right the way through to the end when you receive the pc. The order took a totally of 29days (from the day I ordered to the day I received.) The online account page is very good for keeping you update with how your build is getting on. I assume the build took long to build due to the shortage of pc parts. that being said if you do have a graphics card already you may find buying the parts individually and building the machine yourself maybe quicker. Delivery was on point and came on the day agreed. initially delivery driver had difficultly finding my address and gave up. at that point I received a message saying he wasn't coming however I called pc specialist customer service and to their credit they contacted driver and told driver to try again and I eventually received the machine :-) The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was for the following: Only disappointment was I feel machine could have had more protection in package as the machine only had some foam on the top and bottom. the sides and center had nothing. Therefore the power supply outter cage was dented(I'm guessing smashed during delivery). the pc is working which is good and even though I could have had it fixed after waiting so long not sure I want to wait any longer. I did call pc specialists and let them know about this and they were helpful offering solutions. Also last little annoyance was the extras that come with the pc was just left in a box with no real labeling just was a bit of a mess. seemed as though it had just been flung in a box. so had to scramble about to find antenna pieces so I could assemble them and attach to machine so I could get wifi working. I would of preferred slightly better packaging with labels. The machine overall seems a good buy so far however with the inflation of pc part prices because of shortages etc its hard to really know whether your not over paying for pcs at the moment. luckily I already haave a graphics card so I only ordered everything else.”

“Almost perfect, however a few detailed. Was unable to specifiy graphics card manufacturer. The cables at the back while managed into one thick lead was too thick for the back of the case and I had to cut the cable ties and split them apart. One of the case fans was plugged into a header that was just causing it to run at 100% rather then in a proper fan header. Apart from these points it's been good”
