Claims take at least 4-6 weeks to be processed. And the policy covers very little — there are excuses and bogus reasons. We will contact our state insurance commissioner’s office about the most recent failures. It’s a terrible policy.

Need to wait over a month to get reimbursed says 15 days to 42 had all the documents sent out right away and still waiting and waiting to get check . Never fast

I used to like pets best because they used to process claims fast but no more for the past year claims started takes way too long (longer than a month) in addition to that they start increasing my premium.

Had the insurance for 4years. Each year premiums went up a little then this year the premium doubled!!!!! Impossible to afford.

You take forever to process claims. This has been my experience with every single claim filed. Most recently it took a month to recover a vaccination fee with my wellness plan. Unacceptable.

Terrible, rates continue to go up and not just a few bucks either. They also do not pay fourth or cover what they say they will cover. Also if you have a claim it takes weeks sometimes months to hear anything back and to get reimbursed. Would not recommend pets best. If you want pet insurance look around and find someone else. If I could give 0 stars I would.

They never reimburse wellness correctly. They only pay a fraction of what they say benefit is.

Let’s Best has been underwhelming. It’s been almost impossible to get an agent on the phone, the app consistently glitches, and the coverage provided is disappointing for the price.

I think it’s ridiculous that they don’t cover an injury that occurred years after you have had this insurance but bc it is a bilateral injury to one that incurred before you had the insurance so they can get out of the claim.

Their premiuyms are too high based on the coverage. I am sorry that I signed up for the insurance for my pet. It would have been less expensive for me if I would have just self insured

Can’t say anything nice about them. We were a customer for many years, assuming they would be there for us when needed. This is totally not the case. So disreputable how they took our money and offered no support.

It hardly seems worth it as the max for each thing is low so out of a huge bill only $15 was paid. I am not a happy customer.

49 days to process my claim. Very slow at their jobs. Long wait times on the phone to talk to someone. I should have read the reviews before buying this terrible policy.

Be ready to spend a lot more of time and money. Untimely claim turnaround. A lot of hidden explanation that’s way in favor for this company not the consumer. I’ll be blocking payment and looking elsewhere. Shame for praying on people’s animals

It took over 30 days to hear back about our claims. Whenever we tried calling, we’d have to wait on hold for well over 10 minutes. Once we finally received an email about our claim, we were told that the $80/month plan that we pay for doesn’t cover any routine procedures or medicine that our dog needed and we paid over $700 for. This is extremely frustrated and we will most likely be getting rid of Pets Best, especially since I specifically had out vets office read our coverage plan based on what we pay for and they thought we would also be covered for everything from the visit. I would not recommend this pet insurance to anyone after what we’ve gone through.

Worst pet insurance company out there and I’m an insurance agent! Horrible in coverage, completing a claims! I will be canceling my policy and going to another company!! For what you charge you are screening the customers on what if anything you pay out! I will never refer your company!!!

I wish I knew how aggravated and frustrating it would be dealing with pets best before I signed my dogs policy 3 years ago. It's been nothing but hassles, excessively long wait time for claims, payments that never go through and have to wait longer for my money back. The customer service is horrible and has gone downhill, reps do virtually nothing to help you. You get conflicting answers which makes things so much more stressful when they don't need to be. I have all my pets documention, medical records and always submit everything needed for a claim. The claim process is absolutely horrible and is wildly inconsistent. Some claims take almost 60 days, most take 40+ days, and now I'm not being paid for claims that have been approved. My current claim is said to be approved and the payment sent to my bank but I never got the deposit. It's been 6 days I still never got it, pets best sends me a confirmation but my bank can't confirm it they have no record of any deposit or anything pending. I now am out all the money from this claim as I never got it in my bank account. Im not letting this go and pursuing this to the fullest. I also have another claim pending directly related to this one which still hasn't been approved. I WANT MY MONEY BACK YOU OWE ME.
