“We're happy with them. We chose a 70% reimbursement plan with a $1000 deductible. Our dog had some medical issues this year, and they were prompt in reimbursing us. No issues so far.”

“There is no way I could ever recommend pets best to a friend. I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve raised the monthly fee for me, but the most egregious of all was when the raised my insurance by SIXTY dollars with no warning, conveniently right after my dog was diagnosed with glaucoma. Not only do they constantly raise their prices, their customer service does not reflect the cost. Computers run invoices; I’ve had two occasions where they did not pay me because the “computer” processed something incorrectly. You can call to speak to someone overseas who can’t help you, only to be transferred to someone who hopefully can. I’m not happy with pets best at all.”

“This is the only insurance company of any kind that I have every had that takes the 20% copay off the total of your first invioice before applying the deductible. This reduces the net returned from your first claim. It's like charging a copay on your deductible. Double charges. Now that I have paid my deductible and am beyond this BS, I will keep the policy until it renews and they try to charge me a deductible for another year of service then I am out of here! This place also can take weeks to process claims and return my insured portion of a claim. My last company had the funds in my acount within 3 days of submitting claims.”

“Other than their expected increase on my rates for my aging pets, they’ve been a dream to work with. They take minimal time on claims and they follow through with their documents religiously, so if you read your benefits you can bet they will cover the claim. Best pet insurance I’ve ever had.”

“Pet's Best has proven to be an incredible provider of insurance and care for my pet. Once your deductible is reached, the payout for reimbursement is top notch. It allows me to take ultra care for my pet and I'm forever thankful! I will be a client for the life of all my pets. Thank you!!!”

“Really have no basis for comparison. You seem to get our claims processed at a reasonably decent clip, but you don't always process the claim completely. In other words, the last claim we sent included one claim for Hank and one claim for Gus on two separate attachments, but you only processed Hank's... so we had to resubmit for Gus. Also a bit disappointed that I could not change my deductible when we renewed our policy earlier this month.”

“I have had good experiences with Pets Best except the online claim portal. I tried to submit a claim online for one week and kept receiving a site blocked message. I was able to fax the claim instead and it was processed promptly.”

“My dog got bit by another dog and needed emergency treatment on June 6th. It took longer than I expected for them to process the payment, but received notice yesterday, June 24, that the payment is on the way.”
