Simple claims seem to take longer now.

Took almost a month to settle a very routine claim. The app kept crashing out and wouldn’t let me submit the claim and when I submitted the claim via email, there was no response and acknowledgment that my claim was received.

I have over $10,000 in Vet bills due to my sweet dog tearing ligaments and other tissues in her rear leg. It required surgery that I had to pay upfront. I submitted all my paperwork to PetsBest Insurance and still haven't been reimbursed. I have had to make several calls to their customer service only to be told something different each time I called. I'm pretty frustrated at this point. Do I recommend getting insurance? Absolutely! I just wish that it wasn't such a hassle with this company!

I kept getting notifications about the claim being incomplete. Upon calling I was told I had to submit the entire receipt and everything should go through. I did submit the entire receipt and I still received another email telling me it was incomplete

I have been a loyal customer for years to Pets Best and recommended them to plenty of friends. Now that I’ve had to actually use them in the recent couple years for claims they are slow to process. Both last year and this coming year my policies have more than doubled. I can not longer recommend Pets best to any pet owner. Find a better company to be loyal to.

I complete claims, and upload all of the medical records and the itemized bill. And I keep getting messages that they need the medical records even though I have uploaded my pets entire medical record. Slow to process claims nationwide was much better.

I’ve had a great experience with Pets Best. Having insurance for my dog has given me so much peace of mind when making medical decisions, especially during stressful situations. Just be prepared to pay upfront and wait a few weeks (around three to four in my experience) for reimbursement, particularly on larger claims. That said, the claims process is very easy to submit. Overall, I’m really happy with the coverage and the support they provide.

Coverage for well care is a very poor value. Few things are covered and reimbursements are nowhere close to the cost of the service. More importantly, they are categorizing new issues as pre-existing conditions and therefore not covered. Even with the vet writing letters to explain what is new they deny service coverage. Many of the claims take an extremely long time to process.

Have not enjoyed my experience so far. There have been constant issues with the app. When i had to submit a claim for a routine wellness check and a minor injury to my dogs claw, they both took two weeks before any notifications were sent to indicate the claims were being processed. The whole process took about a month to get any reimbursement notification. It has not been the smoothest process so far. Customer reps have been very nice so that's why i gave it two stars. But this has been an arduous task for some
