Was there when we needed it. Didn't have to make any rash difficult decisions because we had insurance to deal with our dogs health emergency.

Easy to use and pretty short response time! The only thing that could make it better is if you did not have to pay up front and be reimmbursed late. I wish the amount not covered could be billed to you later like human insurance.

I've generally been happy with Pets Best Health Insurance, but this past year my premium shot up by 70%. Pet insurance is becoming as costly as human insurance. If my premium doesn’t come down next year, I’ll likely start looking for more affordable options.

Coverage is good and they were nice when I’ve called but wait times are slow.

My dog went in for his yearly wellness check. We just got his EOB. I thought we should of gotten more money back. He was updated on all his shot and only got 117.00 dollars back and we paid close to 400.00. Why have the insurance, plus we pay for it quarterly and not cheap. This payment took almost 3 weeks

It takes an extremely long amount of time to talk to someone there when you call the number. It seems that it's taking a long amount of time to process the claim.

Pets Best used to turn things around quickly and be super responsive. Now, it takes them a WHILE to turn around the reimbursement. I’ve always been reimbursed for what I expected, so that’s good.

We unfortunately had a scare recently with our cat being sick. We paid everything out of pocket and were a little worried the reimbursement process would be confusing and slow. Luckily, our experience was the opposite! The claim process is straightforward and didn’t take longer than the standard 7-10 business days. The only area of improvement is would be the actual document you receive once your claim has been processed. It was a bit confusing to understand how much we were getting back. Other than that, it was smooth!

I love the way this company handles claims. They're fast. They don't nitpick. The claim explanation is clear and concise. It's a bit pricey for a young dog with a $1000 deductible, but I think it's worth it. if something catastrophic were to happen, we're covered, and with vet treatment costs what they are today, it doesn't take much to reach that $1000.00. Some people say they put aside money for their pets' care so they don't need insurance. But, at least for me, if I don't have to think about the cost, I'm more likely to do what is best for my pet. We'd all like to think we'd spend anything on our pets, but subconsciously we might be considering the cost. We are very happy with Pets Best.
