“My only problem with Pets best is the amount of time they take to process a claim...sometimes up to 42 days...other than that if you don't mind waiting they are pretty good!”

“Getting this insurance was the smartest thing I've ever done. My dog was diagnosed with stage V lymphoma. Had I not had Pet's Best she would not be with me anymore. It allows her to live a good life for as long as possible. The only negative is it takes 4-6 weeks to be reimbursed which isn't ideal with all of her vet bills.”

“They are getting so much better on the time it takes for reimbursements. They used to be great and then the past couple years horrible and now good again, just in the last few month.”

“Pets Best has great coverage and is recommended by veterinary professionals. I just recommend that they have a pre approval process to help owners with the reassurance that their pet will be covered on those non-urgent procedures, like orthopedic and dental fractures that are costly.”

“I submitted the medical paperwork from the vet and I mentioned to pets best that my jack had no prior conditions up to this point. They followed up with the vet to define his diagnosis and a few days later they approved the amount that was allowed under my plan. No complaints thus far”

“The coverage is great and has been a lifesaver for us! When our labradoodle broke his leg at just 8 months old, we racked up a lot in vet bills. Pets Best reimbursed us a great deal! Then when Moose chewed up a Christmas wreath and ingested the metal wire, we racked up another $5k in vet debt. Once again, Pets Best saved our butts with a large reimbursement. We’ve been extremely grateful for his pet insurance. The only thing that I could complain about is the amount of time the claims process takes. When we first enrolled in Pets Best, it was about a 2 week turn around. But for the past 2 years, it takes over a month for our claim to be processed. Though the wait is frustrating for sure, the reimbursement is definitely appreciated!”

“My only issue with this insurance is how long they now take to process claims. I filed 4 a few days ago but they have only processed 1. What use to take a few days is now taking weeks. I do wish they covered supplements. It's healthier for our dogs then prescribed medications.”

“We have been very happy with Pets Best. Our German Shepherd is on two expensive prescriptions and we have had no issues having claims paid. The only negative thing is how long it takes to get reimbursed. It normally takes about a month now to get payment, it used to take about two weeks.”

“I have been satisfied with the service provided under my policy. Claims have been paid fairly according to the terms of coverage, with clear explanations provided. Communications with the company have been by email, telephone, and live chat, always with satisfactory results. My only reason for not giving five stars is that it seems to take an inordinate amount of time for even simple claims to be processed.”

“I can finally write a decent review. I have had so many problems with my claims, having to appeal almost every claim sometimes twice. My 2 most recent claims were finally handled correctly and I do not have to appeal them. I am pleased this round. I hope my next claim will be as smooth without any more appeals.”

“I have never regretted investing in pet insurance and recommend it all the time! The very first year I had it, my older dog needed surgery for cancer and my younger dog needed to get neutered. It covered very well for both! I do wish, when it came to end of life that there was better coverage. It's the absolute hardest thing we do with our pets, and after a lifetime investment in insurance, it would be nice if there was more support then (euthanasia was covered, but cremation was not).”
