we are very happy with the insurance. price is competitive, coverages gives you option to tailor to suit your pet, and what you see is what you get. no surprises in the years we've been with the company. the only change we've noticed is the time it takes to process a claim. I've been submitting medical records in hopes that would help speed the process but that has not worked. Submitted a claim a few days ago and was given a processing timeframe in September that went all the way out to the 21st. Not sure why processing times have increased so much. Perhaps this could be an area of improvement. Once again, we are very happy with the insurance and the company.

Pets Best is reasonable and caring. They take the time to review everything about your pet as that's there number one priority.

The only real issue I have is the length of time it takes to receive a refund check. Other than that, the service is OK.

I give Pet's Best a 5 or 5+ in everything but phone hold time. Staff are very helpful and know their business. Claims are paid and processed promptly. I hate "chats" and prefer to talk to someone personally over email contact.

We love everything about Pets best, but claims take FOREVER to process. Claims from July I’m still waiting for, and I’ve submitted all soap notes and vet notes!

Agents are helpful and it seems I have received the answers to my questions. I would give 5 stars if the wait wasn't so long to speak to someone. Other than that so far so good. I've only submitted one claim in two years so haven't had to use much. I forgot to use this insurance with wellness checks etc but I won't from now on. Thank you

They are pretty timely with reviewing claims. It takes about 3-4 weeks.

Pets Best covers 3 dogs; an 11, 10 and 5 year old. The process to submit is easy, the reciept of payment is slow. Had issues several times to have the company cover Librela but eventually it took. Expensive for the three.

Have the policy for 11 years now. Very happy with customer service and options to change coverages at renewal. However, Processing claims for reimbursements take too long most times. Premiums do increase substantially as pet ages. At this point it is almost unaffordable but too nervous to cancel policy..: God forbid diagnosed with a serious disease. So kinda stuck at this point paying the premium.

My Shiba Inu has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and additionally will need more care as it now appears. Pets Best has done a good job of reviewing the doctor's reports and reimbursement is starting to come in. I am pleased that a fair amount of my expenses have been processed, although it could have been faster. Altogether they have come through for my best friend Dayton and me.

Pets best is good about covering the all of the bill for our pets surgeries. I have never had a issue with coverage. However, it takes forever for a claim to be processed. Which means cover the upfront bill and carry that debt for about two months which sucks. Glad to be getting the money back but wish it was quicker.

Reimbursement for claims is not as quick as it once was, but Pets Best is generally a good company. I would not be without pet insurance.

This company is absolutely great for refunding your money quickly. They cover 90% after your $250 deductible, at least with my policy that I chose. I would highly recommend it.

Their app & website have technical issues. The app is worse than the website itself. I tried submitting a few claims a couple of times & they still hadn’t been received. I had to try again a 3rd time & only then were they received. They do offer direct deposit for claims & they process pretty quickly & otherwise have had nothing but positive experiences!
