“I would highly recommend Pet’s Best insurance for your pet. I was very impressed with how easy it was to file a claim and how quickly my claim was reviewed and how quickly I received my reimbursement.”

“Monthly price is probably the best on the market but they take way too long to process claims. I used to be covered by Nationwide and they would always reimburse me within 24-48 hours (although, for twice the cost each month). Under Pets Best, I submitted a claim after having to pay $13,000 for my cat's surgery and didn't get reimbursed for over 3 weeks. I even called twice and all they said was that they're processing a lot of claims right now. Expenses that large can be life ruining and waiting that long for the reimbursement is insane. I'm still waiting to get reimbursed for another $1000 visit a week and a half ago.”

“Beware! I am not happy with Pets Best. I let them know I was simply moving from NYC to Connecticut, and they took the opportunity to raise my monthly premium by 40% because they knew I was already at my deductible for the year. Beware as they clearly took advantage of this scenario and it is not appreciated.”

“I have been with other pet insurance companies Kew and it seems that Pets Beat takes longer to process claims. Normally my claim would be processed and claims paid in less than a week. Not the case with Pets Beat. Also, I plan on dropping Wellness Care insurance since the cost of this additional insurance is more than I end up paying out of pocket. Lastly, I can never submit a claim using app on iPhone. App always hangs when attaching a small PDF containing invoice. I have to use a browser instead.”

“I was under the impression that the claims will be processed in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe a business week or two at most. I had to escalate my claims several times and wait more than a month for them to be approved. Fortunately the payment fast followed.”

“I've been with them for approximately 2 years and so far my only complaint is that they have a preexisting clause. I purchased a new puppy and according to my contract with the seller I was required to take her to a vet within 3 days. I didn't have time to research which insurance company I wanted to go with. She was born with a dermoid cyst on her eye which I wasn't aware of. The vet found it on her initial visit. After researching companies I chose Pets Best but didn't know about the preexisting clause until after I took her to an eye specialist the vet recommended. Pets Best won't cover the cyst removal. Extremely aggravating! Stuff like this is why we need insurance to help cover the cost!”
