We have had nothing but problems with claims. Our Reggie takes 2 medications. One we order from the vet the other we have to get from a regular Pharmacy. You get the same paper work when you pick up a prescription like for you and me. I get back from PetsBest we need 1) an invoice,2) why didn't you take your pet to a vet 3) there is not enough info for proof payment & 4) some of the info was obscured. Answer: 1) there is NO INVOICE it's a refill of his medication At CVS PHARMACY of course there is no invoice 2) Because it's a REFILL of his medication he didn't need to see a vet cause there was a refill for 1 refill. I CANT GET his medication at the vets office 3) I tracked down our credit card statement where we paid for his medication. But that's not good enough what do they want my first born. 4) NONE OF THE INFORMATION WAS OBSCURED.!!!! We've already been ripped off by them once they refused to reimburse us even though I kept sending in what they wanted, but it wasn't good & put on our baby's file we refused to send in the info. It just erks me they won't be specific as to what is missing.

I love the insurance and think it's great, especially for emergencies. My rating is more based on the app, which I keep having to reinstall because it is buggy. I do most of my claims on a desktop browser now bc of that, which inhibits the convenience.

Text best insurance itself is very good. There's support and customer service, on the other hand stinks.

Coverage is overall great. However, time to get reimbursed may vary. I have waited over a month for reimbursements.

I called about 2 weeks after the submission of my claim to ask a question regarding coverage for another issue. I asked about my previous claim during that call and the support agent said the claim was still in process because the charges did not add up. He said average 14 days for claim processing. I reviewed the claim and found the charges did add up and called back to let them know. The second agent said there it looked like there was a second page based on the staple and that they were requesting the second page. I submitted the second page which only had small print and "Thank you for allowing us to care for (your pet)," called again and spoke to a 3rd agent, whom said processing is up to 45 days and said all information has been received. The claim was finally processed and I am satisfied with that, however I have concern that if I had not called regarding a different concern and asked about the claim, I would not have known that more info was needed or that they did not initially see all charges.

Becoming too expensive. For its cost, the reimbursement time is too slow.

It's OK, seems like you don't pay very much back.There's always a reason.It's not covered under your policy.so am I happy not really. Not sure.I will stay with you guys much longer

Keep in mind all Accident and Illness policies have a Policyholder-chosen copay and deductible that must be met before reimbursing on eligible claims. Additionally, our Wellness Endorsements are a set schedule of benefits that are not subject to a deductible or co-pay. Each line item on the schedule is the maximum the policy would pay for that line item for your pet in a policy year. Unfortunately, your pet may use up the benefits quickly depending on what your veterinarian charges for their services. VERY slow at paying claims. I got paid for a claim I submitted 2 days ago within 24 hrs but one I submitted over 2 weeks ago nothing.

Easy to submit claims, some claims get approved quickly, others take much more time. The ones that take more time, not sure always why.

I love that Pets Best provices both preventative and emergency care. My 5 1/2 year old Springer Spaniel has needed both! My dissapointment is how long it takes to get re-imbursed. My ESS was diagnosed with lymphoma and the chemo bills add up fast. I ended up taking out CareCredit because I couldn't see myself putting thousand of dollars on my existing credit cards. I just hope the payouts come before my 6 month credit comes due and I will have to pay interest at 27.9%!!!!!!!!

Every claim I have submitted has taken a very long time to process. I just feel that It shouldn't take a whole month to process a claim that is very simple. I'm unsure to why I always have to reach out to the vet to get additional information. I thought that it was the insurance responsibility to do so. My monthly payment for the service is always paid on time, and would just appreciate things being completed in a more timely manner.

We have submitted three claims. The first still hasn’t been settled. The second two have. The first is the largest claim and I don’t understand why it’s not completed.

Pets Best has decent coverage for a resonable price. I recently made my first claim and the reimbursement period was about 30 days. I felt that was excessive for such a straight forward vet bill. All expenses were covered that should have been, which I did appreciate. However, I do not appreciate the way they calculate their reimbursement amounts. I was charged a 20% co-pay on expenses that I was fully paying, before I met my deductible. Therefore, my deductible ended up being $600 instead of $500 because of that 20%.
