I really do not have any complaints, EXCEPT, it is taking forever for claim reimbursement. It neverbuse to be this way when I first started with Pets Best. But, now it's taking around 35-40 days for a claim to process.

There many options to fit your budget. Claims are slow to be reviewed and paid out.

You have been taking a very long time to process claims recently resulting in waiting for the funds that I so desparately need. You used to be a lot quicker

While I can appreciate the low cost premiums, PetsBest can be quite slow in their reiumbursement. About half the time they also require further documentation, even though I've already provided what they need, further prolonging the reiumbursement process. Otherwise, the coverage is good and I'm glad that I have it because I met my deductible pretty early on this year.

My dog is only two years old and so far Pets Best has been a very affordable insurance plan for him, especially because we have Progressive car insurance and can get a discount because of that. However, literally every time I submit a claim, I get at least one email, sometimes two, saying there has been a delay in processing, so I would not recommend them if you need the money back immediately. I put all of my vet bills on a credit card, and the reimbursement never comes within the same billing cycle.

Well...I was a long-time member of Healthy Paws before choosing Pets Best. It's been a mixed experience. The wait time for reimbursement is HORRIBLE. I had to bring up leaving a bad review on the Better Business Bureau before the next day it seemed to solve the problem. The customer service is fine but reimbursement times are AWFUL.

I learned that once they close a claim it can be reopened, and may have a new claim number. Right now I was told they are running 40-45 days to pay? I have a couple of bigger claims that are not finished yet, so will be able to give a better review probably in Nov. but I do recommend the well care addition to the main policy, especially for a puppy.

We appreciate the coverage for the price. However the time it takes to process claims is atrocious. It has taken on average 3 weeks to have our claims processed. The last claim had was 4 days shy of a full month!

It's easy to get started with this company. If you don't mind phone calls to get issues sorted out then they are the company for you. But the wait times are crazy making both for calls and for claims to be processed. Also just because you get a person on the phone, it doesn't mean you'll actually get the answers you need. There is a lot of "I'm sorry for the inconvenience...". Currently I have well over $1000 in claims that have yet to be processed. Claims from July and into August. I might start seeing money around October... I hope. Also no where in my origanal documents does it say up to 42 days to process a claim. Even the website says around 30 give or take a bit. But it use to be around two maybe three weeks at the latest. It is just recently this year that there has been a big problem. In this economy we need a better turn around on claims being paid out. If it's a staffing problem, that is fixable. But it doesn't seem like the company can keep up with the demands. I do hope it gets better. Leaving isn't an option as anything with a new company would fall under pre-exisiting. So I'm between a rock and a hard place. I will say most everyone I've been able to talk to has always been pleasant. I do definitely appreciate that!!

I would have rate Pet's Best higher, however there time it takes to clear claims has only gone up from like ten days to now 30 days. 😬🤔

I've only had 1 experience with them so far, but it hasn't been great. Took al almost an entire month to get a reimbursement, and it's STILL not in my account. Tried to get ahold of someone multiple times. The rating may change with time, but we will see.

Have been using Pet's best for almost a year but they have only paid about half what I have spent at the vet for our new dog.

Pets Best has been amazing , my problem would have to be your customer service line . When I called to check on my claim Marcus was the one to answer my phone call and he is very rude & very unprofessional. Told me I didn’t need to spell my name & had a condescending attitude throughout all of my questions that I was asking. I didn’t even get to finish asking the questions I had after waiting on hold for 30 minutes because he was so rude . I don’t know if it was on off day for him but if that’s the customer service that pets best provides to people I’d rather not have this insurance anymore . Also pets best doesn’t provide a place for me to voice a complaint. Couldn’t find anything on the website . Just all around unprofessional & not very customer friendly.

You have affordable competitive premiums. Streamlined claim submission process. But where you guys fail miserably is processing time for claims.

So far just submitted Wellness claims. In my opinion the Wellness plan is not worth spending the money on. $300 per year is all it pays and by the time you pay your monthly premiums your not saving that much money. Turn around time on processing claims is extremely slow. Customer service takes forever to talk to. But once you are connected with an agent so far they are really helpful and knowledgeable about the insurance. I have not had to use the accident or illness policy(which I hope I never have to)but it just gives me a piece of mind that my pet will have coverage. I am $500 deductible 80/20 and monthly premium is affordable.
