“The reimbursement took a while.”

“It’s a pretty good insurance, however the claims take too long to be processed, they won’t reimburse for medication refills even after receipts are provided and explanation of “Refill” is provided, they also won’t honor discount codes from Federal Employers for folks who live in Hawai’i”

“I have no issues with the claim submittal process, online tools or customer service, but am a bit disappointed in the time required to process my claim. It has taken over a month to get notified that it was approved and still waiting for the check.”

“So far, so good. I’ve not had a year yet so I’m still learning what’s covered and what’s not. I’m glad to see reimbursements have gone smoothly. I wasn’t aware that my paying to have my pup’s teeth pulled during neutering would result in the reimbursement portion going towards a deductible, so that was disappointing. But he needed it done.”

“So far, Pets Best has been great to work with. I find them affordable and reasonable in the way they review records and determine explanation of benefits. The one area of improvement would be turn around time for claims, however my most recent was returned sooner than I expected.”

“The insurance was great. No hassles, paid everything with no denials, and paid quickly. The only downside is that our cat died rapidly from cancer, and our dog who also has coverage was receiving a multi-pet discount on his premium. As soon as the cat's pro rated premium was refunded, we were charged for the dog, recouping the discount for the remainder of the year, literally 3 months. That is tacky. Even the IRS is more compassionate. If you lose your spouse you don't need to immediately file as single. Was it a lot of money? No. It's just the principle of the thing in a time of grief.”

“I loved having insurance with pets best but with the prices of living rising so high its impossible to afford the monthly cost. I appreciated all the help bests best did especially when my nibby had skin and hair loss and emergencies this last year the coverage was amazing i wish i could afford it. Thank you for helping my precious in her hard times and thank you for getting her back to health.”

“It was the misunderstanding with the claims dept that made me want to cancel in policy, but one person delivered on what she said and I want to save thank you.....for hiring her she knew her job”

“I have been happy for the most part, having the wellness insurance as part of my plan has been good. Was a bit disappointed that my spay bill was not covered more considering it’s a one time cost in the lifetime of your pet.”
