“Good company excellent plans are offered good customer service quick response time on claims works with your veterinary doctors and clinics has a good rewards program and referral program one - improvement is needed: need to offer riders one prescription food coverage or discounts another one for loyal customers ( anyone 5 years or more with the plan gets a loyalty discount on their plan coverage per year; keeping up with other companies inclusions and adding them to existing customers”

“Turnaround time has improved a lot since last year. Doesn't reimburse everything, but make a good dent in the total cost of serious medical care for my pet.”

“As a pet owner I have had insurance with Pets Best since my dog Spike was 3months old. He is 14. My biggest issue with Pets Best is the length of time it takes to process claims. It is way too long. Over the years my experience is that it has gotten worst.”

“I am pleased with the outcome, however at first, I had to keep following up as to why my claim was not being processed. I was told that they had not received the proper paperwork from the Emergency Vet office. I reached out to the vet office and they did send the paperwork. If I had not followed up my claim would have timed out and I was never notified.”

“I'm a new customer to Pets Best and this was the first time that I submitted a claim. I only gave 4 stars because I was satisfied with the reimbursement amount of the claim, however disappointed with the amount of time to process the claim. The website indicates "fast turnaround" on claims, however it took 12 days for ours to be processed. Not sure if that's because it was the first claim or if that's standard”

“I think you continue to be responsive and the consumer gets what she pays for BUT your response time has definitely slowed—hence only 4 stars. For years I had my verdict in less than 10 days, but alas no more. We are often looking at a month. I do like choosing my own deductible, the ease of filing on line, and the direct deposit.”

“They pay within 3 weeks and cover what they say. Our only issue is a condition that our rescue Great Pyrenees has that they decided was a pre-existing condition and won’t cover any of his therapy”
