Straightforward pet insurance at a reasonable price. There is a decent wait time behind when you file your claim to when you receive your check, but it hasn't been a huge problem for us. Their website is very easy to use and I've always found it to be quick to file claims. I recommend this company to friends looking for pet insurance.

For the most part I am happy with Pets Best until my dog went in for dental work. I called first to make sure his dental cleaning and extractions would be covered and was told yes. When I received my EOB yesterday nothing was paid towards his extractions. We pay so much for insurance so this was kind of a blow to me.

Honestly when I submitted a claim it did take a long time but I am grateful to have seen it’s been resolved. Appreciate having insurance with this company and will refer my family/friends.

I have 3 cats insured & file claims rarely. Was charged 2 deductibles for 1 episode of illness & when I balked at that overcharge, the rep told me "that's the way all insurance works when you pass the renewal date." I have worked in health care & with ins co for decades & that's NOT the way ins works. When a patient starts a treatment program in Dec, the ins co does NOT charge a 2nd deductible b/c your program doesn't end till the 2nd wk of Jan. When you switch to a different 'level of care' like otpt programming, then they charge. If you relapse 2 mos later, new 'episode of illness,' then they charge. Now I feel cheated at a time I am grieving the loss of my baby who got seriously ill on March 20 & died June 10th. I have loved the communications I've had with their reps(reason for the 4 stars,) until this point, but now I don't know what to do. Except submit this review until I feel less fragile over the loss of my 'Sweetest Heart.'

I sent in my claim on the 10th was paid IN FULL by the 22nd… now that’s magic lol. Im so pleased with the speedy service and the check up on us emails. Thank you!

plan is expensive and doesn't cover a lot. deductable is high. not much comes back.

I have been using Pets Best insurance on my dogs for over 10 years. I have had nothing but good experiences with this company. The only thing I have noticed is that the claims process is slower now than it was in the beginning but they let you know the turnaround time when you submit the claim so it's not that big of a deal.

I am currently happy with Pets Best Insurance. At first I was skeptical about any insurance but soon realized how much trouble my pup could get into. Pets Best has addressed my claims in a timely matter and are very helpful on the phone. So far, so good!

So far, so good I'd say! Affordable monthly price for Howl's policy. Filing a claim is fast and simple, and the processing time was just as fast, EOB is easy to understand. Only issue I've had so far is that the app wouldn't let me file a claim, I kept getting an error message when I tried - but the website works just fine!

Coverage versus pricing is reasonable. It does take too long for claims to be fulfilled. There’s really no reason for that in 2022. Hire more people or just improve your efficiency. It is also annoying have to having to resubmit documents. It’s also somewhat cumbersome doing so. Again in 2022, it should be very easy to upload documents. The adjuster should contact the vet’s office rather than the customer if they need clarification on services provided

I’ve o my had one claim so far- signed up our puppy the day we got her from the rescue. 1.5 days later, a trip to the vet for tests and treatment for terrible diarrhea. I understand it was under the 14 day limit but wish it would have been considered. EOB not as fast as I thought it would be. Second claim in for well visit so we will see how that goes.

This was my first submission of a claim. While I wish they covered more, the process was easy to submit and quickly reimbursed. I realize that partial reimbursement my be due to vaccines like rabies were for 3 years and not 1 year. Makes sense.
