“Reimbursement was done promptly -- in under 30 days. The only surprise was that they didn't cover anti-diarrheal medication or pro-biotics which is standard to give a dog after taking an antibiotic. Not sure why these exclusions, but they did cover all the expensive stuff.”

“I've been happy with Pets Best! As soon as I reached my deductible, they've been reimbursing me 90%. I do wish their turn-around time for payment was shorter. Sometimes it's almost a month before I receive the money. But it feels great to know my dogs have that extra protection!”

“I am so glad I bought pet insurance for my puppy. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if he gets sick or swallows something as most puppies do, he is covered. I was amazed that his claim was processed within same week of submitting, a great improvement from the 1st claim I submitted for his vaccines. The doc whiskers vet on call is also a plus. I have used it for advice when my puppy got sick. Very happy I have Pets Best.”

“For a while I thought I was NEVER going to get a claim paid. But now I have gotten two claims paid and my faith in Pets Best has been restored. I think I am understanding better and better as I go along what I can expect payment for. (I have Wellness coverage attached to both pets I have covered but essentially I see that the policy is for accidents, emergencies, and illnesses.”

“Your turn around time for closing claims has vastly improved. Submitting claims is quick and easy. I just wish someone would answer the phone when I call with a question. In the 2-3 years I’ve been a customer I have never spoken to any person at your company.”

“Premiums are little high considering how coverage is handled for certain issues. Processing of claims is extremely slow. Premiums go up every year. My dog's premiums have nearly doubled in 4 years.”

“Easy to upload receipts for payment; however, I had to call because there was a small question with my invoice. I would have appreciated an email or phone call explaining the problem rather than having to call myself.”

“We have enjoyed our experiences with Pets Best Health Insurance. The only reason that I did not give it five stars is because sometimes the delay in reimbursement is long. Otherwise, it has been great.”

“Well I must say it takes a while and when your in the vet's office you really want the best care available so you say yes, I wish I had a list with me of what Pets Best covers or I would had said no to some things. Nevertheless it's better with insurance than not thank you”
