For the amount of money I pay per month, most of my claim shouldve been covered.

Hi! First we are happy to hear your claim was covered, this is exactly what insurance is for. Second, your claim was paid out according to the policy you selected for your pet upon enrollment which is a high deductible of $500 and medium reimbursement of 90%. Therefore, a $749 claim will have a $100 reimbursement. $749.24 - 20% copay - $500 deductible comes to $99.39 reimbursement. Your deductible is now paid and future claims for the year will be reimbursed at 80%. Additionally, should you be interested in a lower deductible, you are welcome to cancel this policy and start a new one. Let us know if this is something you would like to do.

If I could give no stars I would. HORRIBLE company that has crappy customer service and makes you wait on the phone for an hour or more before answering. They barely reimburse you anything for the price you pay monthly and then they don't cover what you actually need covered. So stupid and not worth it. I just switched pet insurances because PetsBest is so awful

The customer service was beyond poor. They did not address my concerns, made an error and won’t correct.

Hi, we do need a clear bill for us to be able to see what is covered and not. Insurance companies are audited every single year and we cannot accept illegible documents.

Pets Best is in no way what it was!!!! I'm sorry that I did not go with a different Insurance for my dogs. It take way to long for the claim to be looked at and when you do it's not done right. Please get it together!!!!

Cancelled my insurance for my three dogs. Absolutely the worst. Find ANY and all excuses not to pay claims. They concluded that everything was pre-existing condition. Even though my last dog had not a word in his file from a shelter about itching or allergies OR the heart murmur. My private vet discovered it after the insurance was already in place and active. Oh. Apparently, these things couldn't have developed that quickly, so they are pre-existing conditions. The worst rip off. Plus, they have NO phone agents. Every time I called to resolve an issue, I was on hold for an hour. Literally an hour. Stay away!! I am going with Trupanion instead.

This insurance company has done nothing but ensure I will not renew my policy with them. I would not recommend this company to my biggest enemy. The customer service is terrible. The call center employees never have any idea what is going on. They all told me different things regarding my claims. Several employees made promises that obviously were not kept. My claims kept falling through the cracks. Nobody asked me for vet records until well passed the 39-day claim turnaround time. Even after I gave the records, they still claimed they did not have them. I was told to email them and no one looked at them for over a week. It wasn't until I spoke with a supervisor, Tamara, who finally found the email. Tamara was the worst of all of them. She was rude, condescending, and I could tell she had NO interest in actually helping her clientele. I'm a millennial. I never complain. I always give people the benefit of the doubt. I have NEVER wrote a negative review. But this company is TERRIBLE. After all of the hassle, hours on the phone, and two+ months of waiting time after submitting claims, only one was partially approved. Horrible company. Untrained, unqualified employees. GET YOUR PET INSURANCE FROM PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR FUR BABIES. THESE FOLKS ARE NOT IT. Would give zero stars if I could.

I hate this company.There is no phone service. The first time I need at the vet everything was wrong and I tied up an office and couldn't get help and hurt my vet and my relationship I never got help other than where to call. Useless!

Pets Best continues to experience long delays in processing properly submitted claims for covered services. Despite promises to correct the problem it has not been done. It's for that reason that we will not be renewing our policy. We've been customers for quite some time but the delays in getting claims processed is not acceptable to us.

Your customer service is the absolute worst! I have two claims that have been paid, but have not received the money. I waited on the line 30 minutes today and finally had to hang up. I also attempted to use chat and after entering all my information received a "thank you" and it closed the chat. Is there anyone that actually works for Pets Best? Please don't give me COVID excuse. You can answer the phone from anywhere. And Email should also be an option. Please call me at 904 703-8900 ASAP. Thank you, Kathy Shay

Hi Kathleen, we understand your concern. Your payment can take time to process if you chose mail payment. If you selected direct deposit it can take 3-5 business days depending on your bank. Give us a call with questions.

I have send in claims for my coverage that should cover the following: Flea/Tick Prevention - $50 Heartworm Prevention - $30 Vaccination/Titer - $30 Wellness Exam - $50 Heartworm test or FELV screen - $25 Blood, fecal, parasite exam - $50 Urinalysis or ERD - $15 Deworming - $20 But every claim I submit gets denied because “this is not covered in your plan”. I have checked my plan several times and it CLEARLY states that I should have this coverage. When requesting more information on why, no one gets back to me. I currently requesting a cancellation of my policy and a full refund as none of my claims are accepted and as a result, I have no idea what I got this policy for.
