“Our dog ingested a part of a rope toy. They covered most of the costs for this very expensive surgery and recovery process. Thank you Pets Best!”

“overall I am satisfied with Pets Best. I only have two comments to make. First of all, everyone should be on board with what is covered. Many times I have to call to correct the reimbursement. The other comment is that the processing time for simple claims is way too long. They always say it is because they have many claims. If that is true then they should hire more processors.”

“Very good coverage and choice of deductible level. The only criticism I have is the length of time it takes to get a response to larger claims like surgeries. Timely response is no longer a priority as it once was.”

“Because my dog has mega esophagus he has to eat a special diet; it’s a combination of small pellets and low fat wet food.. I don’t understand why it is not covered by insurance as it is necessary for his well bearing.”

“Their response time is excellent. They cover most everything. They do not cover all of the wellness vaccines. The bortedella vaccine is to be given every 6 months. That is not covered. They make immediate payments for all other costs. I have them direct deposit to my account.”

“I am generally very happy with Pets Best! They dover a lot, offer a wide variety of options for coverage and their portal is great to use. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is 1) they are slow with the reimbursements and 2) the Wellness plan is not good and I made the mistake of not checking the limits and it really is not worth it.”

“Not going with a 5 yet as I just used the insurance for the first time and I have not received the reimbursement which apparently takes 5-7 business days. I was a little disappointed it did not cover the full wellness visit.”

“I'm happy to have pet insurance. I just wish as much money you spend monthly they would cover more than 28% of the medical bills. Pets are expensive as it is then to pay $130 a month in insurance for it only cover $150 total seems weird.”

“Despite initially wanting my info again, after that my claim was processed quickly, no further questions asked, with a clear explanation as to how the amount was reached. This insurance is really a must for any pet parent.”

“Pros: price for two pets very reasonable for 90% reimbursement. Cons: takes way too long to process the claim.”

“Just like human insurance and other pet insurances I have seen, they sometimes can be finicky about what they cover. Overall they have been great for my dog kenai and I have been very happy with the service they provide. They have been taking longer for claims to be reviewed etc. but hopefully that is a short term issue.”
