“I have been overall very happy with Pets Best. My last claim is however taking longer to process than previous claims. Having said that I did get a message apologizing for the delay so that was nice”

“Overall I have been very happy with PestBest insurance. The reason for 4 stars is the time it takes to be reimbursed. My last claim took one month to process which is normal for them in my experience.”

“We researched all options and chose PetsBest for our Old English Sheepdog puppy. We have been very fortunate to have not needed to file a claim (aside from annual wellness.) Knowing our pup is covered should something happen is so comforting.”

“This is actually the best insurance experience ( animal or human) that I've had. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is sometimes the claims take a long time to process. Other than that they're amazing”

“Overall I have only had one negative experience. Other than that one experience I have had nothing but positive experiences and I frequently suggest my friends, coworkers etc. sign their pets up for pets' best insurance. I have heard horror stories of other insurance companies not reimbursing the client, denying claims etc. but I have never personally dealt with that myself and everyone has been more than helpful. The only thing I would like to see is the company covering more rehab treatment. They already do great in terms of acupuncture, laser therapy, chiropractic etc. However, my dog needed shock wave therapy, which is common in rehab medicine and even has science and research backing it up and they would not cover it. My friend who has a different insurance, who also had to get shockwave on her dog twice, had it covered. I have looked into several places that also have shockwave covered. But all of my dogs, and my cat have been insured through them for years and I am very happy with my overall experience. Especially since I seem to have accident-prone animals.”

“So far they have paid large claims on two of my dogs, however, they are very slow to pay. I had pet insurance with another company previously and switched to Pets Best since my employer offered it as a benefit. Coverage is very good and I love that it covers exam visits and so much more, but the time to get reimbursed is very long in my opinion minimum of 30 days. Previous pet insurance reimbursed typically in 3-5 days.”

“Easy to submit claims, reasonable rates. Love the 24/7 professional veterinary assistance that is available. The only negative would be the time it takes for claims to be approved and reimbursement to go through; sometimes nearing a month or so plus.”

“My only complaint is the time it takes to receive reimbursement from claims. I filed a claim on 11/27 and today is 12/20 and I have not been reimbursed for my last cytopoint injection and it’s time for another.”

“My first claim did take longer than expected to be reviewed, but they were able to cover most of my pet's recent unexpected surgery and emailed to tell me there was a check in the mail after claims were reviewed. Very glad I had pet insurance. Customer service has always been accessible in chat and pleasant to interact with.”

“Pets Best used to be super fast at approving claims, but lately, they have been apologizing for delays due to a shortage of staff. I also feel that they covered almost everything for my first dog, and barely anything for my second dog. I added each dog to my policy as soon as I rescued them.”

“I love pets best. I’ve had great interactions with customer service and the price of the plans definitely outweigh the savings on vet bills. I am giving pets best a 4/5 just due to claim times being long.”
