“The app is handy to check progress of claims. Took about 3 weeks for 2 of our claims to be approved. We were hoping our new pet would not be needing this insurance, but have already met the deductible for this year.”

“I have submitted 2 claims on October 19th… that are follow up so there is nothing on there that is unusual. It is almost a month and these claims have NOT been completed yet. Unacceptable”

“Originally, we got pet insurance because we are an active family and we wanted to make sure our dog was covered if he ever got injured running, hiking or even just playing with dog friends. We never expected to have a cancer scare at only 2.5 years old. Beyond the worry of the health, our family was also worried about the financial burden this would put on us. Pets Best Pet Health Insurance was a lifesaver for us to not have to worry about the financial burden, covering almost 90% of the surgery and visit cost. Now our dog is healthy and happy and we are just as happy! So glad we decided to go with PetsBest when he was a puppy. Only reason for 4 stars is due to the long delays for reimbursement.”

“I get a little frustrated that is a coin toss on reimbursement but fearful of stopping coverage and then Dakota or Kooper experiencing major health issues. Will continue to keep coverage but will explore options if the premium upticks substantially.”
