The time that it takes to get a claim reviewed and paid is unacceptable. I have used other carriers and have a reimbursement in less than 14 days.

Normally happy with them but I pay over $300/year and they denied the $82.00 annual exam fee putting it towards my $500 deductible. They are reviewing but wellness is not worth the cost anymore

Not impressed with this insurance. I have filed two claims since having it the first claim last year - everything went towards my $250 deductible. My most recent claim of almost $450 I was reimbursed $13!! Two codes - one for emergency visit, weren’t covered at all and the rest went towards my $250 deductible. Will be looking at other plans.

Hi, the only services that apply towards the deductible are accident and illness related services. Not wellness. We only cover wellness services if you included wellness coverage with your plan. Have a good day.

Too expensive, insignificant discount for more than 1 pet enrolled, and the 20% renewal increase after just one year is crazy unreasonable

They lose three stars because of how long the claims process is. Anytime you submit a claim it takes a month plus for them to get back to you about it. Also anytime you call in to talk to someone in customer service it takes anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes to get someone on the phone. This has been my personal experience from submitting several claims and calling at least four or five times about those claims because I had questions. Overall they’re a pretty good insurance company but the lengthy nurse of the process really does hinder how great they can be

The amount of time it takes to process claims now is unacceptable. I’ve been a customer for over 5 years and the past year of processing claims have taken longer then ever before. Figure it out. Hire more people. It has to be fixed. I shouldn’t receive money 2 months after a vet appt.

I am not satisfied with the amount of coverage denials I have experienced. The coverage has not been good and I am looking for different pet insurance

Originally, excellent customer service and resolution of issues. Now, my rates are going up, it is taking at least 6 weeks for me or my vet to get reimbursement. In addition, even though the claims are filled out per their instructions, the information is ignored and reimbursement is not going to the appropriate party. I am seriously considering switching companies. The customer service representatives are pleasant and try to be helpful, however, it appears it is the claims department that needs major changes.

I was happier with PetsBest when there was no deductible and reimbursement was 100%. Your plan has, in my opinion, gone from outstanding to average and I will be shopping for other insurance.

Hi, we actually do not offer 100% reimbursement or a $0 deductible now or before. The lowest deductible we offer is $50 with a 70% reimbursement. We appreciate you choosing Pets Best. Have a good day.

Wish there was a quick way to see how much of my deductible I’ve used and it would be nice if I could email questions since I can’t call while at work. Doesn’t seem to cover much for the price
