Only bad thing about this insurance is that it takes a whole month or longer to be reimbursed where others only take less than a week.

Full reimbursement as the chosen policy reads. However, there is a long wait for claims to be processed and payment to be disbursed even when all the information is appropriately submitted. It is a minimum of 28 days and I was told from customer care when I inquired about a claim that it could even be up to 45 days. This is not listed in their advertisements or documents when applying or researching different companies. The information provided claims quick reimbursement and we have never found this to be the case.

You process the claim very quickly but your direct deposit is very slow. It takes up to five.

For the most part Pets Best has been very beneficial. However, I have had some problems with slowness and sometimes confusing directions over how to file an appeal. Some of the information has been unclear to me. I got the insurance for my dog shortly after I adopted him and it has been worth my money. Some of their phone staff seem to be better at customer service than others.

Normally there is fast turn around time for reimbursements. My pet just turned 5 and my premiums increased $10 per month.

Easy to use website, quick response to questions. The only negative I could say is they do have some difficulty with certain invoices that combine a "regular" test with a sickness or injury visit. But ultimately you get through it after some rounds with support.

Great insurance but takes entirely too long to process claims. One month is too long, especially when it’s an uncomplicated claim.

Claims processing times are a bit long and I'm often surprised by what is and is not covered, but generally, the website is easy to use and I always eventually get an EOB.

The customer service is great, the website is easy to navigate; however, the amount of time it takes for a single claim to go through or be reviewed is too long. (42 days).

I'm very pleased with the flexibility of options available to pet owners. The only drawback I can determine so far is that it takes an inordinate length of time for claims to be processed. It's easy to file a claim, but it can take up to two months for coverage reimbursements to appear.

Once the claims process got going, it has been running smoothly as I have submitted claims for services on my hard to diagnose and treat young cat. All labs, meds paid, I don't have coverage for vet visit, but tech visits are covered. I have $5k limit which I'm getting close to and then the year starts again with the $1k deductible. Overall, the insurance has been a great service and , I'm very glad I have it. It takes the edge off overall costs. If I could do it over, I'd select vet coverage, and a smaller deductible.

Excellent value and comprehensive pet insurance! Only issue is the slow reimbursement of claims. I’ve had two claims over five years…in each case it took Pets Best over a month to reimburse me for my expenditures. Still, very polite customer service and loyal employees. Definitely recommend this company.

I'm very glad we decided to renew this year despite the rate increase. Just after sending in the cash our dog was diagnosed with cancer. He's going to be fine but Pets Best helped pay the VERY BIG bill. I imagine it'll continue to work in our favor for the remainder of the year. Why not five stars then? Well, because our dog is a rescue and came to us with horrible skin allergies which we continue to treat without any coverage. I believe there should be some way to give folks who rescue adult dogs a break on pre-existing conditions.

Processing time is extremely slow..!! My friend who has another carrier has claims processed in 1/3 the time…seems like your always sending out emails about how it’s taken longer , etc… maybe you need to take a look at why it takes your company so long Unacceptable processing time for claims..!!!

So far everything has run smoothly. Somewhat long period to wait on reimbursement. Just had my first major claim and it's taking considerably longer than regular claims.
