Pets Best has been great. The time between filing a claim and a payout has decreased a lot. The only real problem I've had is that I think the $5,000 limit is too low, especially for cats who have chronic conditions like cancer.

Overall a fantastic company which offers extremley competative coverage at a reasonable price. The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is because claim processing times are longer then expected.

Slow to pay but did pay everything after deductible. Premiums are inexpensive compared with others.

Definitely the best pet insurance I've had! I love how they explain your benefits in every claim that you make and will go line by line to let you know why something is happening. I also think they have some of the best bang for your buck coverage wise. My only complaint with them is that their app is pretty clunky and could definitely use an upgrade to streamline everything, resolve all the bugs, add more resources, and give a better capture of your benefits. I also wish there was some discount for people who have held the insurance for awhile or people with no accidents (only wellness visits).

I've had multiple years of policy coverage on multiple dogs. The wellness coverage reimburses our vet costs, generally to about 50 %. Processing of claims is very quick w/ EOB(s) released w/in a few business days of submitting the claim. Overall, as w/ all insurance, it is a risk management strategy, not going to save any money when combining premiums and benefits paid for routine pet health service, the hope is that the costs for major medical are shared and thereby more tolerable for the policy holder.

One of the best in the market we have been customers over a decade however premiums do go up drastically with age of dog thats the downside. Coverage is ok but could be better.

Overall I'm very satisfied with this insurance. I like you have options as to the plans offered, it's not all or nothing. Easy submittal on line & direct deposit.

Great coverage once it kicks in, albeit a bit slow to process claims and we had to send claims multiple times because the email address/claims form wasn’t working properly.

Actually this should be 4.5. Customer service was excellent and very helpful and understanding. I have 3 dogs insured by Pets Best and all 3 had significant health issues in September and October. 1 has cancer and the other 3 had unexpected surgeries. Pets Best is handling all of it! So far my premiums have not gone up...I sure hope they don't. My only concerns are the number of times I was asked to submit records because it became a bit confusing and redundant, and the length of time for some, not all, of the reimbursement. I am not surprised because of the number of claims I am submitting w 3 sick Pets. Since switching to direct deposit reimbursement has been much speedier. Again, customer service has been terrific and employees really understand the overwhelm of ill fur kids. The folks I spoke to were incredibly understanding and helpful. I am so glad I got pet insurance and was able to enroll my older dog as well as my puppy and middle aged boy. Thank you to Pets Best...you saved me financially so I could save my 3 Best friends!

Good on the small bills from the vet, but it takes quite q while for them to pay larger ones. It took them over a month to pay a $350 bill.

Overall we have been very happy with this insurance. They have been more or less consistent, helpful, simple and easy to understand, and submit to, etc. I would recommend them to others.

Pet’s best was the best option I found for pet insurance after searching through all the popular options. It was easy to set up and I’m paying roughly $50 for 2 cats, one of which is older. They did however severely upset me when they denied my claim for an illness my cat developed 2 days after the waiting period ended. I am aware it was a crazy coincidence that it happened so quickly after the waiting period ended, but it genuinely was a coincidence. I had to do an appeal and it was super annoying and exhaustive getting all the information needed. However, pets best admitted their fault and ended up accepting my claim. It was just a crazy situation but I can respect anyone who is able to admit when they were wrong. I almost cancelled my plan but will continue with them.

I haven't, fortunately, had to submit a claim so cannot review on that, but when I have called with questions the representatives have been very knowledgeable and helpful.

I submitted my first claim on 9/6/23 and received the reimbursement on 10/4/23. The process to submit the claim was easy...but the processing time was not very prompt. I am used to Aflac and their quick processing to get your reimbursement to you faster. The email I received to apologize for the delay makes me think Pets Best needs to hire more claim representatives. Just a suggestion

My only complaint is the wait times for processing claims, otherwise the pricing for plans and coverage is the best on the market.
