“I’ve only had it for a couple of months but have submitted a couple of wellness care claims and they were processed without a problem. It’s easy to reach a live person to talk to that I could understand. Overall good experience thus far.”

“The turnaround time frame for claims seems awfully long to me. I am pleased once I get the money however. I did call to discuss several matters and the young woman was very helpful, answered my questions and helped me decide what's best for my dog.”

“While it takes them a little time to complete the claims, they are very efficient and have helped us a great deal. Of course, the price goes up every year as the dog ages, which seems a little crazy because we pay for many years without needing many services, however, I rest in comfort knowing when he is older and may need real help, it will be there. I would highly recommend this insurance for anyone who genuinely loves their pet.”

“Overall decent coverage. The processing of claims has been slow but I think all companies are delayed these days. It would be nice to be able to add vaccines later on to your coverage through the site. The staff are helpful if you have questions and good all around coverage.”

“First, the customer service people are just the nicest!!! Always nice and they really do want to be helpful. The reimbursement time is a NIGHTMARE. It took over a month from the time the claim was put in till I could see it online that it was paid. (Now I still have to wait for the check). I think overall they are probably short on adjusters , HOWEVER that should not be the customers problem and waiting at least 5 weeks to get reimbursed just isn't what most people can do when they have struggled to pay the original vet bill and/or put it on a credit card which has to be paid. But the plusses were, customer service reps were VERY nice AND in the end the claim was paid correctly, just not in a timely manner. I think this is a great company overall and once they improve their reimbursement times ratings will go up. This was a simple claim and straight forward so it not being complicated , it never should have taken this long to pay.”

“The app is very user friendly and makes submitting/checking statuses of claims very easy! Would have given 5 stars, but the last two claims I’ve made have taken awhile to be processed.”

“Pets Best has been remarkably fast in resolving claims. However, they denied a recent claim for my dog's annual vaccinations, saying they had already been paid for the year. She got her vaccinations a week earlier than she did last year. I think they need to review their timelines for annual vaccinations. Next year I'll make sure she gets her shots a week later.”

“Takes too long to process reimbursement but the one time I have submitted a claim I have been satisfied. I thought it was going to be a hassle and they’ll need my first born to process but it all went through the first time.”
