PetsBest is a good pet insurance, however the reimbursement takes a long time. At the minimum 1 month. They also make mistakes where one time the same medication is reimbursed and then rejected.

My pup had an object in his foot that cost us $$$$ to remove; I submitted our claim on Wednesday, and got an email on Friday that it had been accepted. I would give them five stars but there is always room for improvement, maybe if there was 1/2 star to mark.

I appreciate their excellent customer service representatives. I wish I had a better understanding of what each policy included and what it didn’t include. My recommendation is to make a list of what is important to you, (dental, emergency care, preventative care, flea and tick treatments) and have the customer service reps help you find the correct policy and price point.

I have been getting reimbursed quickly. The app is super easy to use. It has benefited us . I am so glad I decided to get insurance for my 2 shih tzus.

This is my first real disappointing thing with Pets Best. Put in what I considered a very simple claim for wellness and an eye issue. It took 30 days exactly to get the claim completed. Way to long in my opinion. Called twice to inquire. No real reason was given for the delay. Shouldn’t have taken that long for a very simple claim.

Having pet insurance is a lifesaver. Only wish that Pets Best would pay quicker as the website says something completely different from reality. It takes about a month or more for reimbursements. Once they do reimburse, they are very fair and pay according to their agreed contract.

Pets Best reimbursed for my dog's hospitalization. They provided a detail explanation of benefits and their customer service was friendly and able to answer my questions.

This is our third Claim. I am a little frustrated with how long it takes to process the claims. It's fine for what we've needed it for but if you're talking about a $14000 surgery bill or something like it could pretty catastrophic for a family.

Coverage is good but Medical claims take forever, like over 30 days which is crazy because I signed up for this company after reading the average 7 day reimbursement. Hopefully this improves…

The people at Pets Best that I have talked to are the best. They listened to me and answered every question I had professionally and fixed any problems I had. Pets best kept me in the loop when receiving my claims and apologized when they were taking to long to process. And that is the only reason that they did not get 5 stars, as there were too many claims that were delayed.

I have a claim still in "process" from July 28 yet a claim dated August 8 has been completed and a check is on the way. If PesBest needs more information please ask me or the vet. I need this resolved and a check cut.

I have been a member for several years and have been totally satisfied. This insurance has saved me through the terminal illness of my French Bulldog back in 2017, 18 and early 2019. Lately the claims payment has been very slow. I have submitted claims in early July and have yet to receive any reimbursement. Staffing everywhere is an issue and this may be the case with Pets Best. I remain a satisfied customer, just not a "5" one!

Overall, fairly good! You can go to any vet without worrying about in or out of network, the scope of what is covered is fairly vast. The two complaints I have are communication and timeliness. With communication, If you have a loss of a particular service within your policy, they don't inform you as to when that happens, they just stop covering the bills, and you have to reach out to determine why. The second is timeliness. When your claims get worked on/reimbursed is random. I've been reimbursed anywhere from two weeks after submitting the claim to 4 months after (it averaging about a month and a half). It would be great to have a legitimate timeframe to expect an insurance payout.
