“First claim was rejected because our dog needed to see vet 2 day sooner that allowed (15 day wait). Dog had surgery and reimbursement was less than 2 weeks. Can’t give 5 stars since I never saw any mention for a 15 day period. Most likely in fine print. Overall I can recommend Pets Best Pet Health Insurance .”

“In most instances, claims are processed quickly. I only had one instance where it took weeks for the claim to be processed. Overall I am quite pleased with the insurance, however, I wish they paid out more for the claims. I rescued a puppy who had a "pre-existing" condition which is not covered. You would think rescuing a pup from a shelter would provide you with more coverage since they lived in horrid conditions making them susceptible to illness.”

“I’ve been a Pets Best customer since 2008. I like the ease of online claims filing and the option to be reimbursed by Direct Deposit. Unfortunately the wait times to speak to a Cust Service rep have been extremely long (often 20+ minutes)”

“It did take some time, but I have gotten word that I will be receiving an expected reimbursement for recent veterinary care. There was no questioning of decisions made. I am thankful for this peace of mind moving forward.”

“I have had pets best insurance now for around 2 years, and have been very pleased. We have 4 dogs on our plan, and luckily don’t often have to submit claims. However this year, our 3 yr old Bernedoodle tore both her cruciate ligaments several months apart. After we reached our deductible, they absolutely covered 80% of the rest, which was huge for us, and will make it worth paying for for years to come”

“Pets Best Pet Health Insurance saves our family money, however I do hope they will consider adjusting the amount they pay claims for wellness plans. They currently don’t cover enough for all the vaccines/preventative measures which I deem unacceptable in a wellness plan”

“The only reason I did not give a 5 Star review is bc of the cost. However, I still find it is well worth the monthly fee for peace of mind. It is easy to submit bills for payment and they are Fairly prompt with reimbursement. I’m pleased with this insurance they have always paid for what they are supposed to pay for with out an argument.”

“I have added information to a prescription that my dog has been on for 5 months. Apparently the info from the drug store is incomplete. I sent a picture of the box label for two prescriptions. I don’t have the box from November but the prescription number is the same At the end of the number they put a dash and how often we have filled the prescription. If they really don’t believe can’t they just call the pharmacy? The date was November and the December one is taken care of.”

“So far so good. It's easy to submit claims online and check status but it's not very intuitive if you want to add or change something. Coverage is as expected and processing so far has been speedy. The only customer care rep I spoke to was very knowledgeble, helpful and friendly.”

“Pets Best is slow to process insurance claims so far that I have been a client since Oct 2023. First claim took almost 30 days. Second claim recently in December took 29 days. Got to get better at processing pet claims, especially if all records are presented when the claim is initiated in the client portal. Thank You.”
