In general very good. However, despite treatment given by a DVM they occasionally disallow the treatment for arbitrary reasons

The claim process took a very long time (almost 2 months) but they covered everything and didn’t play games!

Would have been 5 stars. But no contact on a filed claim for ROSIE. Have this insurance for several years. Always recommend to others. Got a new pup. Filed claim for service of shots wellness and small surgery. Received apology for late response. Then no contact. No I have not called customer service. Prompt service should have been notified on claim that is close to one month old. You may look up claim under my email address. Rosie is a new addition to our account. We removed DAFFY. DUE TO HER PASSING THANKS FRANK RIGGIO

Seems to be taking longer for claims to be paid then it used to. Still within a reasonable timeframe though.

This was my first wellness claim submission. Submitting the claim was quick and easy. Reimbursement took seven days, which is not bad, but it’s considerably longer than I was led to believe.

We had a rough start, some things that my vet wasn't familiar with and I never thought of , so our first claim was frustrating. While we are still working out the first claim , I'm super excited to say my 2 subsequent claims were paid , and super fast too. Will be adding my new puppy to our policy, it gives me piece of mind that we are covered and dont have to choose between what we may be able to afford and taking the best care of our pets possible.

Luckily have only used it for well check-ups and meds but being able to get reimbursement quickly is great.

I've been with this company for about a year now, and I've been happy with their conduct. They generally have claims processed within a week and if there's going to be a delay, they send an email letting you know. I haven't had any major claims, so I can't speak to how that process goes, but the small claims I've submitted were handled well and in a transparent way.

Normally they have been very great, processing times have crept up a bit though. This last claim was almost a month to process.

I love Pets Best for many reasons....easy claim process, super nice phone representatives, direct-deposit of settlement money, and their great (free) 24/7 emergency vet telephone consultations! But, they really to fix their way-to-slow claim processing time...it takes a month to get a claim decision from them and then even longer to get payment. Pets Best very slow claim processing is the only reason I hesitate in recommending Pets Best to family friends, and keeps me from giving them a "very good" rating. If Pets Best just improves in this one area, it would be an "excellent" company! I'm sticking with you...I'm hopeful you will improve with time!

In the past you have been top notch. But in the last claim I made a month ago, I still not have received approved reimbursement for two claims. Your customer reps are very good, better than Human insurance reps. I was told you have grown in business and are slow to make reimbersments. I hope that you can find enough staff to fulfill your workload and provide the excellent service I have experienced in the past

I have had Pets Best Insurance for my two-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix for the last year and a half. I absolutely love that it covers exam fees if I take my dog for being sick so I can feel good about taking her and have the ease of mind that her visit will be covered. The only reason I wouldn't give it a "very good" rating is that I think some improvements can be made for continuous policy holders. There are no incentives or discounts for continuous policy holders, ie. no discount for continuing to be a member year after year. I also have the Essential Wellness plan, however it is not as beneficial after the first year for a few reasons. The wellness plan includes reimbursement for microchipping, but pets are only microchipped once. Also, Rabies is reimbursed yearly, but my dog only gets a rabies shot every three years now.
