It was easy to submit a claim. It is rather expensive, but hopefully, it makes financial sense over time.

Since I last reviewed Pets Best, I have been significantly happier with its service. I feel that claims are processed without hassle and are extremely fair to the terms of service outlined. My one complaint is the inconsistency in timing. Since I last reviewed Pets Best, my claims have been processed much faster overall. However, some claims will randomly be delayed for several weeks. My issue with this is when it exceeds a 4-week time frame because then a reimbursement is not issued before a credit card payment is due. I also feel that when this happens, a notification of delay is not sent out promptly. Overall, I am a happy customer of Pets Best, but feel there are a few things that could be tightened up to offer better service.

I really do appreciate the insurance coverage, however it seems that intuitively certain expenses should be covered for a particular illness but for some reason they are not. The explanation seems vague but practicality would dictate some common sense.

They haven’t paid some claims that I expected to be covered but they have paid the bigger claims which makes it worth the cost.

It is very easy to submit a claim to Pets Best. And the claim is processed quickly. They communicate well, so you know at what point the claim is at. The deductibles and disallowed vet charges really bring the amount received down to very little of the total vet charges.

Slow to get payment back. And little communication. My invoice was wrong, and paid less on my first dog, then second. And both had same things done

We have had pets best for years now and it had always been a great service. This year is the first year that was upsetting. Our premiums jumped up 140% in one year, which is crazy to me. We have to now assess what to cut and where. Wish these increases were more understandable.

I would have given it a 5 star but every time I called related to a claim, the hold time was greater than 25 minutes. Other than settling claims and telephone time, we had good experience

I have only recently signed up with Pets Best -- just a few months before my 8-year-old dog began to have some serious health issues. I have found submitting claims to Pets Best to be easy and that Pets Best keeps me informed about the progress of claims and reimbursements.

Problem with flea and tick prevention. (Advantage) . Vet doesn't have it, pets mart or petrol out of stock. Could not give an itemized receipt. Got it on Ebay, provided description, picture, pets name on invoice, and total cost. Still not paid.
